Izuki POV

It's been a few days since our run in with Toga, we've been doing mostly patrols, with Aunty updating us on anything to do with the Meta Liberation Army when something new comes up, and last night Aunty got a call to a meeting, and has yet to come back... it's the afternoon of the next day, I'm getting worried.

"Hey, Noivern?" "Xerneas is fine, no need to worry" "You say that every time, I just want to make sure she's okay, what was the meeting even about?" "Even though you've been told about what this agency has been investigating, I cannot tell you that" I groan and fall backwards on the couch, "Just tell me something, like... when will she be back?" "No idea" "Fine... what's your deal? Why did you choose to become a sidekick here of all agencies, with your wings and all that I'm surprised Hawks didn't reach out to you" "He did, I just denied him. Same reason your aunt dislikes him" "You know?" "Yeah. She's started a habit of complaining about not being able to see you as much as she'd like" "That brings me to my next question, is it just you two here?" "No. Who do you think the spies getting us info are? Your father was also a co-head with your aunt before his passing"

"Where are the others again?" "Training" "And why am I being monitored by you everywhere I go? You've been tailing me since I got here, when I'm not with Aunty that is" "Direct order from your father" I sit up after hearing that "What?" "The day he died he told me that if you were to ever show up here, do not let you out of my sight unless you're with your aunt" "Dad... that was the last thing he told you?" "Yes" "Did he... ever talk about me and mom?" "Every day. Wished he could spend more time with you, but Xerneas and him were being hunted" "I keep being told that, but who was hunting them?" "All for One. He wanted, and probably still wants, their quirks" "Then Aunty is in danger" "No. Not where she is, he'd be dumb to try anything, plus he's in prison" "You never know with a guy like him" "That's very true. What did Toga want to talk to you about?" I sigh "It turns out... All for One got his wish, for my dad that is. A few weeks ago Toga and Dabi were assigned to go get a dead body to turn into a Nomu, this specific dead body they were told to grab, was my dad" Noivern look over at me "Why have you not said anything?" I could tell he's upset, and maybe a bit worried.

"I... just needed some time to accept it myself" "Your aunt needs to know" "I know, they all do. I'll tell them when Aunty gets back" "Well I'm back now, so let's gather everyone and you can tell me whatever it is you need to tell me" I nod and get up to get the others from training.

After gathering everyone I fill them in on what Toga told me. "Hakai... is being turned into a Nomu?" "Yes, and I have no idea if there is a way to undo it" "I see..." "Zuki, if there is a way to fix your father and for him to be alive again, I will do my best to help you find it" "Thank you Jack" I hear Noivern walking away but don't question it, if anything I'm a bit glad he's off my tail for now. "I have a question Aunty, are you aware of what dad told Noivern the day he died?" "Yes, I am. I can tell him to give you a bit more space if you want" "Hold on, what are you guys talking about?" "Turns out... the day dad died he told Noivern that if I ever came here to never let me out of his sights unless I'm with Aunty" "So you have a bodyguard now?" "I... guess, yeah. What can you tell us about the meeting you were at Aunty?" "Not much, other than we have an assignment to get done today, but before you ask, it's not about the MLA" "Sounds interesting, what do we need to do?" "Well... there's a villain that's been causing trouble outside of town, and we think that they're planning something, but don't know what" "So we need to figure out what they're planning?" "Yeah. All of you get ready, we'll be heading out soon"

An hour later- 3rd person

Niji stops the group a while away from an old warehouse, "Alright, listen closely. We have no idea if the guy is in there, what quirk they have, or even what they've been doing. The only thing we do know, is that there have been multiple reports about someone matching this guy's profile following woman about your age" Izuki and Evelyn both lightly flinch from hearing that, with no one noticing the look of pure hatred in Izuki's eyes after. "Have there been missing people reports?" "Thankfully, no" Denki nods at the response to his question, "Oh, just so you guys have them and so we can hopefully get fingerprints, put these on now" Niji hands everyone a pair of rubber gloves, and leads the group to the warehouse making sure to stay quiet just in case.
