Chapter 24

Alexander's Pov

My heart refused to believe what Bella was saying even though l know that my sister can never lie

Bella didn't know what our family did for a living and she thought our brothers and dad were practically angels so she thought that she is framing our brothers because they can never do anything wrong according to her

Part of me refused to believe that mother could ever blackmail dad with proof to send my brothers to jail but even if she did she wouldn't use it right??

She wouldn't send her oldest son to jail right?

Bella was trying to come to terms with the fact that we might leave soon while l slept next to her comforting her

"Alex you'll never leave me right" she mumbled while cuddling me closer and l felt my little sister's pain

Rosabella was getting used to having a family and now it's been taken away from her but l know deep in her heart she has already chosen our brothers over her

My sister is different from Alexa and every minute l spend with her am proud to be her elder brother and come what may l will always protect her

"Never" l said linking our pinkies

When Rosa fell asleep l left her room and l found my brothers in the living room as they were all worried about her

"Is she okay" Leone asked

"Yeah she is " l said

"What is wrong with her ,she sounded like she was crying" Elonzo asked

"I hope nobody did something to her or said something to her because l won't spare that person" Leonardo said

"No she just felt a little down but she's fine now" l lied because l needed to talk to dad first before worrying my brothers

"I will never understand girls seriously" Leonardo said leaving and we all laughed

I left for dad's home office and l found him working and he looked tired and tensed

"Is it true" l asked as l sat in the couch inside

"Be more clear as to what you are talking about son" he said seriously

"Does she want me and Rosabella" l didn't have to say who as dad left his chair and came to sit next to me

"Have you been eavesdropping on me" dad said with a stonic and emotionless face

"So it is true" l said looking away from dad

Being the last of my brothers dad always spoiler me since he hadly cared about Alexa he always had a soft spot for me no matter what l do so l got away with a lot of things and l know he won't scold me for this

"Alex l made the rules clear no eavesdropping" he said seriously

"I won't do it again but l just heard it in passing and Bella was with me and now she's heartbroken dad" l said and dad pulled me for a hug

"I love you, your brothers and your sister equally Alex and l can't hurt either of you " dad said but l already knew he had made a decision and it was going to break our sister's heart

"I can't let them go to jail Alex" he said

"I know dad and you made the best decision" l said with a heavy heart

"Promise me you'll take care of her " he said
