It's been three years since (Y/N) arrived in Hell. It took him two months to stabilize himself in hell, especially when violence is an everything thing, drugs sold publicly and in vending machines. Gang wars happen every day and all day. Worse, turf wars. 

Mainly the turf wars after Extermination Day. A power vacuum always happens right after all Exterminators leave Hell. Some Overlords would fight for the territories to gain more influence and power. 

Worst, (Y/N) has noticed Lute hunting for him during Extermination Day. (Y/N) stays home during the event not wanting to be found. Even if he dyed his hair Black and hid his angel features, he had a feeling Lute would recognize him. 

(Y/N) is currently walking home after getting groceries, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire of a turf war. (Y/N) noticed the bodies of sinners littered across the streets of Pentagram City. (Y/N) can't help but feel guilty. He knows there are sinners in hell who committed minor crimes and were sent to hell. 

(Y/N) knows he has the power to fight Adam and his army, but doesn't want to involve himself. Call him a coward, but he wants to remain hidden. 

(Y/N) whips his head around when hearing gunshots. Explosions are heard, making (Y/N) seek cover. He hides behind a car, putting his head down. 

" Why now!" (Y/N) looks over his cover, seeing two gangs gunfight. Both sides are losing the same amount of members. He hears someone scream to his right. He sees a sinner with their child. 

(With the Sinner)

Why did she decide to go out today? She should've stayed home and waited until the turf wars died down. Now here she is, taking cover from gunfire.

She hates how killing her husband got her a ticket straight to hell. Her husband was abusive and was about to kill her son, she acted on instinct. She did what a majority of mothers would have done. It's unfair how she was punished for it. 

She didn't expect her son to also be dragged with her their house exploded. Seems their husband was more of a bastard than she first thought. She made it her job to protect her six-year-old son. 

Seems it's the end of the road for her. She hugs her son and turns around. Hoping to shield her son from the blast. 

She didn't expect someone wrapping their arms around them, covering them. The grenade goes off, and their savior takes the blast for them. The sinner and her son open their eyes to see (Y/N) covering them. 

((Y/N) POV)

" You two okay?" (Y/N) asked. He feels his wounds healing thanks to his angel heritage. 

" We are. Why risk your life for us?" (Y/N) freezes at the question. He acted on instinct, especially when a kid was involved. He knows sinners are immortal unless they're killed with Angelic Weapons. So why did he protect them? 

He looks at the kid, remembering Heaven. What did a kid have to do to be sent to hell? (Y/N) can't help but get angry, Heaven is not what it seems. He may have been loyal but now his loyalty is shattered. 

He looks at the dead gang member to his right, a revolver in their hand. " I can no longer stay idle. I must act to keep sinners like you safe," (Y/N) said. The mother's eyes widen in surprise. 

" You mean that?" The sinner can't help but feel that an angel is in front of her. (Y/N) moves to the gunfight, a side has won. 

" WE DID IT! JAKE RULES THESE STREETS NOW!" The gang celebrates their victory. Happy to have won the territory for their overlord leader.
