Sera is looking out her office window. She watches on with a smile as Heaven's population walks around without a care in the world.  Everyone is enjoying themselves as they have nothing to worry about in Heaven.

Sera turns back toward her desk. Sera's eyes slowly move toward a knocked-over photo, and Sera's smile turns to a frown. 

Sera starts remembering a time when things were different. When things were simpler, hell didn't exist, and she and...

Sera's thoughts get interrupted upon seeing a portal manifesting in her office. Sera knows it's Adam and Lute returning from their assigned mission. Sera expected the two to walk through with the Rogue Angel prisoner. 

The last thing Sera expected was to see Lute and Adam coming through empty-handed. The worst part was that Adam looked banged up, limping, his face badly bruised, and he had a dislocated wing and a bullet wound. Besides him, Lute was surprisingly unscathed, her uniform looking dirty from smashing through walls and floors.

Sera ignored Adam's condition as there were more important matters to discuss. " Report." 

Adam growled in annoyance. " Are you not seeing my FUCKING CONDITION!" Adam screamed in anger. He just got back from fighting (Y/N) and his bitch boss wants an immediate report. Does Sera not see his precious wing needs to be looked at? 

Sera just glared at Adam. " If you can use such language, you can give me a report. Right. Now." Sera ordered which gave Adam no choice. 

" FINE! Lute!" Adam ordered. Lute took off her helmet and stood up straight. 

" Your Highness, about two months ago I tracked down the Rogue Angel to a Human's home," Lute answered, not mentioning (Y/N) in her report. 

" Upon seeing the place empty I quickly patrolled the area within a two-mile radius. I sensed the Rogue once more and quickly made my way to his location. Sadly I got there late, and I only saw two Cherubs who were kicked out of Heaven," Lute explained. 

Sera clenches her fist holding back her anger and disappointment. Cherubs may have colorful personalities but they mean good, most of the time. However, to hear that two Cherubs were banished from Heaven was not good to hear in the slightest. 

" Continue."

" No activity the following two months. That is until today. I sensed the Rogue and quickly flew to his location and wasted no time engaging him," Lute answered honestly. 

Sera is staring at Lute in disbelief. " Wait, wait, wait. You engaged him in a PUBLIC area." Lute tilted her head innocently. 

" That's correct. Don't worry, everyone in the building was killed by demons," Lute revealed. Adam smacks his face. Sera's upcoming reaction is understandable. 

" WHAT!" Sera was about to lose it. How could Demons get into the Human Realm but most importantly, hide from Heaven's eyes? 

Sera took deep breaths before gesturing to Lute to continue. 

" The Rogue punched me into the upper atmosphere where I blinded him temporarily and took the opportunity to call in Adam."

Sera looked towards Adam who wasn't listening as his dislocated wing preoccupied him. Adam kept touching his dislocated wing and cringing every time.
