Static is the only thing visible on screen until it slowly disappears to reveal Charlie adjusting and fixing up a camera.
"Alright, that should do it." Charlie jumps back before smiling and waving at the audience behind the screen.
"Well hello readers and authors! It's so nice to meet you all finally. I know you've all been wondering where the author's been and I'm here to answer."
Charlie clears her throat before continuing.
"The answer is quite simple, responsibilities have been taking up a majority of our author's time. At first, the spring semester took up his time. Right now, his time is filled with assignment after assignment as our authors choose to do two classes during the summer. 12 weeks of work has to be done in just four weeks for two classes, so you can imagine the pain that is if you've taken a summer semester in college."
"Responsibility is tough, but must be taken seriously."
Charlie squeaks in surprise when (Y/N) landed behind her.
"Besides, it is not all bad news. Our author is cooking up quite the chapter for you all. The chapter already has 10k words, those 10k words have been revised and reread. The best part is the chapter hasn't even touched the episode."
Charlie smiles. "All the author needs is patience and we promise that he'll get the chapter out before July. Now..."
Charlie loudly claps her hands. "We hope you all have a great day and this is Charlie Morningstar signing off—"
"Wait just one more thing." Charlie stares at her boyfriend with suspicion.
"What?"
(Y/N) smiles before showing Charlie a remote. "I was requested to show just one small spoiler."
"Hey! We agreed to not show any spo—" The screen goes black as the scene changes.
(Y/N) stares at the portal in the sky with a grin. As Exterminators begin to put out of the portal, (Y/N) creates and pours his magic into it. As the Exterminators close in, (Y/N) in an instant pulls back and swings his sword.
"Divine Departure!"
