Olivia and Amanda went to couples therapy weekly. It was expensive, but the cost was worth it. Their relationship was worth every penny they put towards fixing it. As they put time and effort into making their relationship work, Serena became a much bigger part of their lives. She would watch Charlotte while Olivia and Amanda went to therapy and ate dinner with them at least three times a week. Amanda still wasn't completely open to Serena being in their lives, but they both loved Olivia and the babies, and that brought them closer together.

"One year of Miss Charlotte Jean," Amanda beamed, as she came into the kitchen. Olivia was trying her hardest to decorate Charlotte's cake, but it was not going well.

"It's been a wonderful year," Olivia smiled tiredly.

"You doing okay, baby?" Amanda asked, and Olivia nodded slowly.

"I'm tired, but I'll be okay."

"Are you feeling okay other than being tired? You look a little pale," Amanda replied worriedly. She walked to the other side of the island and felt Olivia's forehead and then cheeks, but she didn't feel warm.

"Mandy, I'm thirty-two weeks pregnant with twins. We have a baby who just learned to walk and is getting into everything. I'm exhausted, which is expected. Now, can you try to fix my mess here? I would like to take a quick nap before everyone gets here for the party," Olivia replied, her hand brushing loose blonde curls away from Amanda's neck.

"Of course, Liv. Do what you need to, and I'll fuck this cake up," Amanda grinned, her hands moving to Olivia's waist. They shared a few light kisses before parting.

Amanda let Olivia nap until guests arrived, and she went downstairs to see that Amanda and Serena had decorated the living room and Charlotte was dressed in the dress she and Amanda had picked out together. Fin, Nick, and Rafael were the only other guests who attended, but Olivia and Amanda wouldn't want it any other way.

"I really don't even know where to start, other than thanking you all for coming to celebrate Charlie's first birthday," Amanda smiled, as she stood with a beer bottle in her hand. Charlotte was already a mess after eating dinner and it would get worse the moment her cake was brought out.

"Gonna get cheesy, Rollins?" Nick teased from where he sat next to Olivia, his arm draped over her shoulders.

"Amaro, I'm happy. Get over it," Amanda said with a roll of her eyes. She walked over and lifted her daughter before kissing her cheek softly. Charlotte smiled at her mother, her small hand brushing against her cheek.

"It does mean a lot to have all of you here. None of us have a lot of family, so it's nice that we can all gather to celebrate Charlie and get something more or less out of the way," Olivia spoke, as she slipped to the edge of the couch and took a short break before standing awkwardly.

"What do you mean?" Rafael asked, as Fin cleared his throat and sat his beer down on the mantle.

"We are getting married, like right now. It's going to be quick and not really what we wanted, but it's something we've been talking about doing for a while. I lack the energy to plan a wedding, and Amanda and I want to get married before the twins are born," Olivia spoke.

Rafael, Nick, and Serena were all surprised by this. Fin was the only one who was in on the secret, and it was only because Olivia and Amanda requested he marry them. He was close with both of them and was Olivia's rock through the hardest of times.

"Are you two completely sure you wanna do this? I'll help plan and pay for the wedding if that is an issue," Serena spoke softly.

"Mama, it's okay. We can afford a wedding, and we may do something bigger in a few years. It's just that we have both been alone for so long, and it just makes sense that we get married now. Neither of us is going anywhere," Olivia replied. Serena nodded before standing and walking to her daughter. She gently smoothed her hair for a moment, before smiling largely at her.

"I'm just thankful I get to be here when you get married."

The wedding was intimate and short, but it was exactly what the newlyweds had wanted. As soon as they were done getting married, Charlotte got to eat her cake, take a bath, and then open her gifts. By seven, everyone had gone home and left the small family to enjoy their new normal.

"It kinda sucks that I can't wear my band," Olivia sighed, as she held her golden wedding band between her fingers.

"I'm sorry, Liv. I didn't realize your fingers would be so swollen," Amanda frowned as she looked over at her wife.

"Maybe I can get one of those rubbery ones to wear until my fingers go back to normal size. I want everyone to know that I'm married," Olivia replied. She placed her wedding band into her ring holder before walking over and climbing into bed. Amanda pulled her close and pressed soft kisses to her lips.

They laid together, Olivia's eyes barely staying open as Amanda spoke softly to her.

"Thank you for forgiving me... I don't think I could have lived with myself if we never got to get married," Amanda whispered, her fingers moving over Olivia's freckled cheek. Olivia's lips slipped into a smile, her eyes fluttering open slowly.

"You've matured since we almost broke up, and I appreciate it. You and my mom get along a lot better than I ever expected," Olivia admitted.

"I know, it's weird. We've been going over your birth plan and what's the best way we can get you to the hospital before the twins break loose," Amanda chuckled.

"I love you, Rollins," Olivia yawned, her hand slowly working through her messy bangs.

"That's not my last name anymore."

"What?" Olivia yawned as she opened her eyes slowly.

"I guess not completely. You forgot the Benson," Amanda grinned. Olivia's face lit up, and she nodded.

"I love you, Benson-Rollins. Now, go to bed. I'm exhausted."
