Being married wasn't an enormous change for Amanda and Olivia. Since they started a relationship, they shared the cost of everything and took on half of Charlotte's care and household duties. It was nice to have people congratulate them on their marriage, especially since they fought so hard to get to this point.

As the days passed and red marks covered the calendar, Olivia grew more uncomfortable. Every day she woke up and hoped that she'd go into labor, but by the end of the day, nothing happened. There were a few false alarms, but nothing came from them.

"You look exhausted, darling," Amanda spoke, as she walked into her wife's office. Olivia hadn't been out in a while to check on the case, so she got worried and went to check on her.

"I could go for a nap," Olivia replied with a weak smile. She leaned back against her chair and slowly ran a hand over her belly.

"Do you want to head home? We can leave Fin in charge," Amanda offered. Olivia shook her head as she leaned forward again and grabbed her glasses.

"It's okay. I'll be on leave for at least six weeks, so I should stay and get some work done while I can. How is everything going out there?" Olivia asked as she fought off a yawn.

"Liv, you can always take a nap on the couch. No one would blame you," Amanda said with a soft smile as she walked to Olivia.

"Amanda, will they ever come?" Olivia asked softly.

"The twins? Baby, you are forty weeks pregnant. They could come at any moment. I know you expected to be holding them by now, but they aren't ready yet."

Olivia nodded slowly before pushing herself to her feet. She swayed slightly as Amanda walked to her side.

"I'm going to use the restroom and then get a snack. Can you and the guys give me an update when I'm done?" Olivia spoke.

"Of course, Liv. Here, get yourself something tasty from the vending machine," Amanda smiled, as she pulled a few crumpled dollars from her pocket.

"Geez, thanks, Mandy. I'll have to work hard to get the machine to take these," Olivia said with a weak laugh.

When Olivia walked from the bathroom, her face had paled and her legs felt weak. Amanda had her back to her wife as she wrote information on their whiteboard.

"Liv, are you okay?" Nick asked when he noticed the look on Olivia's face.

"Uh, Amanda?" Olivia spoke, as she ignored Nick.

"Yeah?" Amanda asked as she continued to write.

"I don't think we need to wait any longer..." Olivia trailed off.

"Wait? Olivia, what's happening?" Amanda asked, as she finally turned to look at her wife. Olivia gave her a weak smile as she held her stomach.

"I'm pretty sure my water just broke... Can we go to the hospital?"

Serena ran down the hall and to where her daughter had been admitted. Serena passed a nurse as she entered the room and found her daughter lying in bed, two heart monitors wrapped around her exposed stomach. Amanda stood beside her and caressed her hair as Olivia breathed through a contraction.

"So you think they'll be born tomorrow?" Olivia asked, her eyes locked on Amanda's.

"If they are, you'll be sharing your birthday with them," Serena spoke, as she shed her jacket and tossed it on a chair.

"You made it," Olivia smiled tiredly as she reached out to her mother. Serena quickly walked to the bed and hugged her daughter before kissing her forehead gently.

"I wouldn't miss this for the world..." Serena replied tearfully.

"We could both use your support, Serena. We are kinda, well, super scared," Amanda admitted.

"It'll be okay, sweethearts. Olivia is strong," Serena replied.

"Am I strong enough to have two babies?" Olivia asked weakly.

"Yes, you are. Do what you need to do to make it through labor and delivery. Break our hands and call Amanda all sorts of names if it helps," Serena smiled as she caressed Olivia's flushed cheeks.

"It's a little harder to blame her for doing this to me since we are both girls," Olivia laughed, as she looked at her wife.

"Blame that damn donor!" Amanda grinned as she grabbed her wife's hand and squeezed it.

Serena was surprisingly supportive during Olivia's labor. She and Amanda switched off when Olivia got up to pace and needed to walk the halls, especially when one of them needed a break to use the restroom or eat something.

As the hours went on, February 6th turned into February 7th and Olivia was officially going to be sharing her birthday with the babies. She hadn't wanted to give birth on her birthday, but then she realized how excited she was to share her day with two of the most important people in her life.

"Olivia, look at me," Dr. Strong spoke from where she sat at the end of the bed. Olivia's doctor wasn't able to make it to the delivery, so they had to settle for the on-call doctor.

"I really don't think that I can keep doing this. I'm so tired," Olivia whimpered as she looked down at Dr. Strong.

"I know you are tired, but you decided you didn't want a c-section. Baby A's head is right there, and we need to get them out. So you need to start giving it all you got. If you are too weak to deliver Baby B, we will take you for a c-section or use tools to help. Okay?" Dr. Strong spoke.

"N-no c-section," Olivia whispered.

"You are going to have to work hard then, Olivia. You are at the very end, I promise. Keep going."

Olivia felt like she was in a fog as she continued to push. She was so overwhelmed by the pain she was experiencing that she didn't even realize she had delivered the first twin until a screaming baby boy was placed on her stomach.

"Oh, Olivia! Great job, darling!" Amanda exclaimed as tears slipped down her cheeks. She rested her hand against the baby's back as Olivia looked at her son in shock.

"I-i did it?" She asked, weakly.

"You did it, baby! Look at how perfect this little guy is! Just one more to go and we will finally have all three of our babies," Amanda smiled.
