The victim's boss ended up being the rapist, and after bringing him in for questioning, they arrested him and sent him to the tombs. Olivia and Amanda left together and headed to the mall to get Amanda clothes that actually fit her changing body.
"Are you doing okay?" Olivia asked, as she pulled out a pair of pants that might fit Amanda a little better.
"Not really," Amanda replied. Olivia turned to look at her, a frown growing on her lips. Amanda not only looked exhausted, but also completely confused.
"What's happening? Did someone say something to you?"
"Dominick did... he confessed his love to me, and I think he wants to raise the baby with me," Amanda sighed.
"Do you not want that?"
"Want him to love me? To be a father to my child?! Olivia, I am done with men!" Amanda huffed.
Olivia stepped closer to Amanda and gently touched her back. Amanda tried to blink away tears, but she couldn't. Olivia always made her feel so safe and comfortable. Amanda could tell Olivia anything and feel so free afterwards.
"Not all men are like Declan. Many men will step up and help. They will not only support the baby but also the mother. Dominick and Nick may not be the ones for you, but there may be another one out there," Olivia breathed. She gently rubbed Amanda's back, before pulling her into a hug as tears poured down her cheeks.
"Maybe I'll finally accept the fact I'm bisexual... find a woman to be with," Amanda mumbled into Olivia's shoulder.
"Anyone, man or woman, would be lucky to be with you. Now, let's find you some cute clothes and maybe get dinner."

Amanda felt a little better by the time they left the mall and headed back to their apartment with dinner. They sat together in the living room and watched the news as they picked at their salads. Amanda was just finishing up hers when she got the nerve to ask Olivia something that has been in the back of her mind since her morning sickness faded.
"So, when do you want me out?" Amanda questioned, her voice shaking.
"Huh?" Olivia replied, as she sat her glass of wine down. Amanda turned slowly to face Olivia and tried to not act super worried about this all.
"When do you want me to move out? I'm assuming that this can't be a permanent arrangement since I'm having a baby..."
Olivia didn't respond right away. She loved having Amanda living there. Every night, she came home to someone else and didn't feel as lonely or depressed anymore. She and Amanda would make dinner together and sometimes played card games. In the end, there wasn't a lot of space in the apartment, but Olivia didn't want Amanda to leave. Now or later.
"If you want to continue living here, I won't say no."
"Really?" Amanda asked, her eyes wide.
"Really. If we need to move apartments to allow more space for your baby, then we can get one together. It would be easier for us to afford a three-bedroom apartment if both of us chipped in," Olivia smiled softly.
Amanda stood up quickly and attacked Olivia with a hug. Olivia held her friend tightly as tears welled in her eyes.
She finally felt like she had a real family.
///
Amanda had to shut down Nick just like she did Carisi. She had no romantic feelings towards either of them anymore, and they finally agreed to just be friends. As the weeks passed after Amanda returned to work, she grew more confident with the idea of being a single mother. She was still worried about taking care of a newborn while recovering from giving birth, but then she'd remember Olivia.
"Come in," Olivia spoke, after hearing a knock on her office door. She was completely focused on an email she was drafting that she didn't realize that Amanda had actually entered her office.
"Liv?" Amanda questioned. Olivia looked up quickly from her laptop and smiled at Amanda.
"Hey, Rollins. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm good! Uh, it's just that we are slow and I'm about to leave for my appointment. I was wondering if you'd like to come with me?"
"What is the appointment?" Olivia asked as she leaned back in her chair.
"I'm getting to see the baby today... I think it's the anatomy scan," Amanda replied, her face slightly red with embarrassment. She had gone to most of her appointments alone. Only a few times did she have Olivia hang out in the waiting room just in case something happened. Now she was inviting her friend to the most important appointment so far.
"Why do you look embarrassed?" Olivia asked with a frown.
"I-i just feel like it's weird to ask you..."
"I don't think it's weird, Rollins," Olivia chuckled softly. Amanda nodded weakly as she shifted her weight to her other leg.
"So, do you wanna go? Or should I just tell you what happened tonight?"
Olivia stood and took her glasses off before tucking them into her bag.
"I appreciate the invitation, Amanda. Let's get going."

Olivia held Amanda's hand as the tech performed the ultrasound. Amanda's hand was shaking, and she was trying her hardest to keep her anxiety at bay. The last thing she wanted was to find out her baby wasn't okay.
"It's okay," Olivia whispered, as she the tech hit a few buttons on the machine.
"What if something is wrong with our baby?" Amanda asked. Olivia pushed past the fact Amanda called the baby theirs instead of just hers.
"The baby is going to be perfect, Amanda. Just breathe," Olivia replied. She reached out and smoothed Amanda's hair, before looking back at the screen.
"Alright, everything looks great. The baby is a little on the smaller size, but we don't need to worry about that right now. Some babies are just smaller," the tech spoke.
"See, perfect," Olivia smiled as Amanda looked up at her.
"Can you see what the baby is? I think it's a girl, but all of my co-workers, this one included, think it's a boy," Amanda spoke with a sigh of relief.
"You don't want to have a big gender reveal party?"
"Nope, I just want to know... Please," Amanda said with a nervous laugh. They kept their eyes locked on the screen, and after several moments Amanda laughed and looked at Olivia.
"Told ya so," She grinned.
