Dear Newt,

I woke up, it was dark, It was cold,
I had no memory and I suddenly felt exposed,
What was my name? How old am I?
I had no answer, no matter how much time went by.

Then suddenly it opened, the top of the cage,
Then I jumped and coward, as the sun above blazed,
My eyes adjusted, I could finally see,
Many different faces, staring at me.

I look at them all,
Some big, some strong, some tall,
But there was only one,
That stood out most of all.

He had dirty blonde hair,
And heavenly blue eyes,
And I swear my heart stopped,
Every time he was in my sight,
And my heart started fluttering,
Every time he spoke.

From start till finish,
from beginning till last,
I will never forget, the way my angel laughed.

It wasn't very often, but it was silky and pure,
Like a thousand little doves, oh that I'm sure.

We got through the maze, we went through the scorch,
We even got to Denver, but that isn't all I recall,
You trusted me with a letter,
Told me,
"You will know when the time is right,"
Little did I know,
That you were crying at night.

I let you down my hero, let you down big time,
I could see it in your eyes,
How much you were broken inside.

That day in the bowling Alley,
That's when the nightmare became true,
The moment that I realised,
That I needed to leave you.

Later on that day,
I met up with you again,
But it wasn't a pleasant event,
can I turn back the time please?

I have died a thousand deaths,
And lived a thousand lives,
But none of that matters now,
Now you are not by my side.

Newt, my love for you is infinitive,
It's a never ending love,
But each night it brings me to my knees,
'Cause baby the last words from you were,
"Please, Tommy. Please."
