I'm sorry for the Playful Kiss spam but pls bare with me I'm trying to complete all the things in my drafts before I start new ones to end up neglecting :/

Ha Ni wasn't surprised when she came late and everyone was sound asleep, it was one in the morning after all. She didn't mean for it to be this late, but she got too caught up with her studies in the library that she forgot the time. It was a good job that the library was open twenty-four hours a day.

She tip-toed as quietly as she could through the house and up the stairs all the way to her room, she thought she was safe with one foot over the threshold of the door, but apparently fate wasn't on her side this time around because an firm hand was placed on her shoulder, which made her cower into herself, knowing fully well who it was.

"Where have you been?" The voice barked from behind me, she wanted nothing more than to slap his hand off her and to crawl into bed.

"Studying." She had opted for, not wanting a fight.

"Studying? You've been coming home late for months now, and you expect me to believe that you, Oh Ha Ni, were studying? Why don't you just leave, at least then you won't have anyone to lie to." Seung Jo's voice dripped with sarcasm and tiredness, making her wonder why he was there making her feel bad rather than sleeping.

"I'm surprised you noticed." She said simply, walking into her room and closing the door behind her, leaving a perplexed Seung Jo in her wake.

Once safely inside her room, she silently sobbed while her back slid down the door and landed with a tiny 'thump' on her carpeted floor. Months on end of studying for this nursing exam that was practically make or break, this one determines whether or not she becomes a nurse, determines if she can actually do something for herself and not as stupid as everyone thinks her to be. She hasn't eaten much, rarely slept apart from naps between classes, studying and her part-time job at some café not far from the subway, somewhere she was sure that Seung Jo didn't know about. It was perfect.

"You know, Ha Ni, I have a studeo apartment you can rent a couple of blocks away, it's in the middle of your three favourite places," her boss had said to her a few weeks ago, they had just closed for the day and it was her, her boss and her newly found friend Chul-Hee Ki, who was teaching her English as they both save up for their trip to England.

"Hm, possibly unnie, it depends on money and all that." She rambles as she finishes cleaning off the remaining ribb sauce from the counter top that she vaguely remembers a family with twins sat at, she gushed and congratulated the parents for having children as aegyo as they were.

"Well, I need a place to stay, we can both rent the studeo together, split the rent and save up together. It would be easier on our studying and we won't have to dodge that Baek Seung Jo that you keep whining about." Chul-Hee said, coming up behind her.

"Daebak, I didn't think of that. It would be easier on the both of us, but I will need a little time to think about it, gwaenchanh-a?"

"It's okay, take your time."  He replied, giving me a wide smile before he chuckled and continued to sweep the floor.

"Just don't take too long," boss intevines. "You have three weeks to come up with an agreement or I'm putting it back on the market, you don't find a lot of places like these anymore."

Sighing, Ha Ni comes to the conclusion that she was going to take Boss's and Haneul's offer, she and Chul-Hee was going to rent a studeo together and together they will study work and then take that trip to England like they both promised. She clambered into bed and started to thing, unknowing to the fact that the boy who she loved was still standing outside her door, his head pressed against the cool wood, wanting Ha Ni to understand that his insults come from the heart.
