Part one - Phone call

Nobody's POV:
Jake is at the bakery shop working with his friend Miriam that is making some blueberry muffins right now.

He had his hand resting on his cheek, he was clearly waiting for another costumer to come but also thinking about tom a little. Wondering how he's doing.

Miriam walked up to Jake and tapped his shoulder which made him jump a little.

Jake then turns to Miriam "Oh! Hey Miriam, what's up?" Jake slightly smiled.

"The blueberry muffins are done. I can take care of getting the costumers orders, you can give out the bakery boxes." Miriam then walked away.

"Got it!" Jake does a hand salute then goes to the countertop were all the delicious dessert was.

Jake liked to work with Miriam it really made him feel happier then ever.

Suddenly he feels his phone vibrating from his pocket, decided to stop what he was doing and go outside just to take the call.

Jake pulled his phone out and it was his friend Ashley calling.

Jake presses the green button then put it by his right ear."Hey ashley! I'm surprised you called y'know I'm working right now right?" Jake chuckled.

Ashley in the other hand was planting some seeds in her yard while holding her phone by her ear. She looks at her phone. "Oh My bad! just wanted to see what your up to."

"Your fine don't even worry about it. By the way you just wanted to call just to se how I was doing?" Jake asked Ashley.

Ashley nods "yep, is you and tom still hanging together?" She asked in concern.

Jake rolled his eyes. "No and why should i care, he never answers my calls or messages." Jake looks annoyed.

"Maybe he has his phone on do not disturb?" Ashley shrugs.

"OR just ignoring me." Jake expression change to sternness.

Ashley giggled a little "one day he'll call or text you. he's a police now plus they can be busy sometimes."

Jake thinks about it and sighed. "Your right, I'll call you later gotta get back to my shift now before Miriam notices I'm gone."

"Alright bye then!" Ashley smiled then hanged up.

Jake then went back to the bakery, Miriam noticed and walked up to him.

"Where was you at? I was calling for you like 10 times." Miriam gives him the look.

"Oh! uh.. just getting some fresh air outside it is sunny out" he laughs sarcastically.

"Okay then get back to work." Miriam then went back to the cashier.

Jake also goes back to the countertop, then started passing out the muffins. His expression was a little bereft because of tom not answering him. I guess he doesn't want to talk to jake right now.
