Tom's POV:
Last night with Jake was really unexpected, but I've never went that far with Jake before. But weird thing happened this morning i woke up to myself hugging a pillow? Took me a second too realize that Jake had left this morning. but at least he left me a sticky note on my nightstand.
Is a rainy and a little foggy today, barely can see the road while I'm driving. Still confused about how troy was bailed out, who even did that? He's literally a dangerous person around jake.
But I'm keeping that promise, I'll never let jake get hurt from anyone but i don't wanna go too overprotective. He'll get annoyed.
While i am focusing on the road a black hoodie man i couldn't see his face but he keeps appearing every street or area I go, started to get creeped out about it so i drive faster to get away from him. My phone started buzzing in my hand, a random phone number texted me.
"Sooner you will never see yourself being a fool again, just like on national television."
What is happening? do these random numbers never stop sending me these type of messages, especially death threats. Is like I'm getting targeted.
A few hour later...
At home just make myself some coffee, I hear a sudden knock i walked to the door then open. It was jake standing on the doormat while the pouring rain started to soak his hair, but he looked a bit upset.
"Hey! You look upset is everything okay?" I gently looked and asked him.
"Tom, i have something to tell you." Jake replied.
"What is it?" I said with concern. My worries started to build in. He looks away for a second and looks at at me,
"Me and troy... got back together."
My whole body just froze in complete shock. It felt like i just got stabbed in the stomach by his words. "What?! Jake he's a menace try to kill you! Why did you do that!" I shouted. He didn't respond but just looked away from me. "Is this a truth or a lie?" I was starting to panic.
"Is true. I'm sorry." Jake said then left without turning back. I just stood there still shock of that unexpected thing.
