Part theirteen - Afraid or not?

Tom's POV:
What the hell was Jake scared about? I mean, he literally like yanked me out of there. Was there like a person he didn't like? Either way he is having a serious panic attack right now, i'm scared that he'll make have a heart attack.

As I'm driving, i noticed Jake who is sitting be me he was breathing quickly with his hand on his chest, trying to calm himself down. I put my hand on his shoulder for comfort this made him calm down even more. he turns and face at me then gives me a warm smile. I smiled back at him and focused back on the road.

It was peaceful that now there weren't many people driving in the street at night, good thing we can get home easily.

After this moment of silence again he finally spoke "sorry about that, is just- i saw my ex and got worried that he'll see us." Jake sighed.

"Why? are you scared of him?" I asked.

Jake scoffed and crossed his arms "No.. fine a little."

"Are you Afraid  of your ex will hurt you or your not?" I asked.

"Yeah." Jake just looks out the window with this blank expression on his face. I could tell that he is afraid what will his ex say about seeing me and him at the bar we just left.

After this moment of silence we finally made it to his house. Jake gets out of the passenger seat and shut the car door. He slightly smiled at me and waved as I drive away.

Jake's POV:
What if I'm actually afraid of Jonas? I can't just be scared of an ex that I haven't seen an a while.

As I'm was walking to my doorway I felt a buzz on my phone in my pocket, pulled it out it was Ashley that send me a message

Ashley: since you don't work on Sunday, wanna go to the mall?? :)

Me: sure!!

Not gonna lie she always make good plans. Guess she's a party animal huh?
