Part eleven - Meet up

Jake's POV:
Happy to know that we're making up now! This won't be bad at all I hope, kind of not of fan of drinking alcohol, so I'll get me a The Detox instead. Stranding next to a stop sign behind Wendy's while looking at blue cars to see if Tom is or not because his is dark blue. Perfect night to hangout though.

My watch turns to 9:23 and a dark blue car pulls up to me, they roll their windows down it was Tom "get in!" He said with excitement. He seems happy to around me. Hm.

Opened the passenger door and shut it once I got in, then Tom began to drive. The radio began to play Blank space - by Taylor Swift. We both kept on making eye contact trying to see if one of us will speak or not, but Tom breaks the silence.

"So, been a while huh?" He said and chuckled awkwardly.

Glanced back at him "yea. Good to see each other again."

Tom looks back at the road as the light turn green, his eyes kept looking at me every time the streetlights turned red. I didn't even see Tom was looking at me because I was staring out in the window.

"Is a beautiful night out here. The stars and the full moon." I speak.

"Yeah. we should kiss right now." Tom smile fainted when he actually said this quietly.

I hear those words then turn to him with confusion "w-what?"

Tom looks away in embarrassment "I... was talking about a love scene from a movie! Totally not about us!" He laughs sarcastically.

nodded and went back to looking out the window. I'm now thinking about what he just said quietly. maybe he was singing a song? or just talking to himself, otherwise is nothing important.

the car then stopped moving, noticed that we are parked at the parking lot. At the bar.

"we're here." tom said.

look at the sign of the name Fusion Flask Lounge

"Alright! I'll pay for our drinks."
