Jake's POV:
I'm just sitting here in my living room with Miriam since I invited her here even though we're neighbors. just Watching a television show love island and I'm holding a throw pillow, it felt soft and comfy, just like a teddy bear.
"Hmm.. I think Emma and Mike would be a good couple, what do you think?" Miriam turned to me waiting for me to response that answer.
looked at Miriam and nodded whilst staring at the television screen "yeah, make a cute couple."i wrapped my arms around the throw pillow then press it into my chest.
"jake, did you think about what i said yesterday?" Miriam asked
i glance at her "yes i did. do you think i should let tom think about it and not, well, blowup his phone?" started to get a mixture of worry and a little bit of anxiety at the same time.
she nods "absolutely. Is for both of you guys good."
my worries turn to a smile, then glanced back to the television. "alright, at least is a Sunday. means no work today" i chuckled.
She smiled "I get that your happy aren't you"
"You know what, maybe I am!" I exclaimed
Miriam laughed at my reaction, but I can tell she was also thinking about something. My mind is wondering what could it be.
So, Decided to asked about it "hey Miriam, are you thinking about something?" I asked curiously.
"Oh! Just thinking about stuff. let's just get back to watching love island." She gives me an innocent look.
"Um, okay." I glanced back at the television, and thinking. is she thinking about me and tom fixing and talking things out? I'll take that as a yes. Hopefully that'll happen soon, wonder if Tom is doing the same thing?
