Tom's POV:
I drive in the police car while focusing on the road and people, my face has this sad expression. Feeling bad about that day, I snapped a little and raise my voice at my ex.

My friend police, Tracey, seems to notice how i am acting, she tries to see if comfort will help make my situation better.

"Hey, what's with the sad face" she raises her eyebrow.

I response with a fake smile "oh, uhm, nothing! that's just how my face looks sometimes nothing's wrong with me."

tracy tilted her head. Meaning that she probably doesn't believe that. "Tell me, i know is about your queer break up anyways."

my hands started to grip on the steering wheel feeling irritated to speak about it. "None of your business but I'll just say it. a day ago, i was walking home after shopping at the market, he was chasing after me just to talk, but i feel ashamed for raising my voice at him. what do i do to fix that?" i looked at her with a worried expression.

tracy cross her arms "just apologize to him, he'll for sure forgive you." she said and softly smiles.

my expression then turns to calm and I slightly nodded "alright."

she chuckles proudly and pats me on the back "that's the spirit!"
