Ashley's POV:
at Jake and Miriam's bakery shop, me and him are having a conversation since there place is short of people today. We're sitting here laughing at each other's jokes. Nice to know we're good friends.
"Hey, there's no one here so want a muffin?" He asked.
"Sure! Here's some money" I place a 5-dollar next to him. He grabs it and walks up to the countertop; he opens up the shield grabbing two blueberry muffins.
Then comes back sitting down while holding two blueberry muffins in his hands.
"Decided to get two for the both of us." He smiles and hands me one.
"Wow these smells delicious! You and Miriam are good bakers." i chuckled.
"Thank you! were perceptional bakers, obviously." he does a limp wrist, and flap his hair with his hand.
I started to laughed at this "you sure is! Man I love spending time with you." Muffled while eating the muffin.
Miriam looks annoyed about how we were laughing a little too loud. she finally speaks "can you two keep it down?! I know we don't have a lot of people here today and I'm trying to play candy crush in peace." She gives us an annoyed look.
Jake looks down embarrassed "sorry Miriam! We'll keep it down"
I then glance back at Jake while eating my muffin "so, any signs of tom?" I muffled.
He sighed "nope. You should've seen how he raise his voice at me! Now that's a sign of never talking again."
I nodded "One day I'll happen trust me"
He slightly smiled "thanks." Jakes phone started to buzz. Looked like someone was texting him.
looked at him with concern "who's that?"
"Don't know, but hold on." Jake say.
