Nobody's POV:
Miriam and Jake both close their bakery after it was 8:00 pm. Miriam drives home to her house and Jake walks home since he doesn't have a car yet. He was still thinking about what ashley said to him in the phone that afternoon.
In the other hand Tom was just driving around in his cop car looking out if there's any trouble around, he suddenly sees Jake walking in the sidewalk.
Jake notices the cop car knowing that it was tom. They look at each other awkwardly not even saying anything. (Jake you should've kept walking.)
he speeds walk and Tom drives a little faster so they can get away from each other.
Jake's POV:
Omg.. i just saw Tom in a police car. Damn. As Walking to my front door after my day at work. felt so drowsy of working to 10:00 to 8:00 pm - it was for sure a busy day.
As I made it inside my living room was kinda a mess didn't feel like cleaning it up then flop down on the couch. Groaning of tiredness. Started to go through my phone just to make me fall asleep better, but when i press the photo app.. there it was.
Some photos of me and Tom, one when we were fishing and two us cuddling. Felt my stomach getting butterflies right now by seeing these photos right now. "Why the hell am i looking at my gallery is not even important." Mumbled to myself then just turn my phone off and close my eyes shut.
Tom's POV:
Is My mind is going silly right now, or did i just fucking see Jake walking in the sidewalk at night? Thank goodness we didn't say hi or speak to each other
Looking at the time through the radio it was clearly 9:00 pm - which means my work is done! Turn my car around to the police station.
Mrs magic - by Strawberry Guy was playing through the radio which felt relaxing to hear this, very relaxing.
Driving at night wasn't really that bad but my mind is still being funny because i have just seen Jake after weeks and show ended. Bet Jake felt dumb for not saying a word to me but can't not lie because I didn't speak also.
Finally made it to the police station, parked it in the parking lot then got out of the cop car to my own car. And i started driving to my home.
Kinda boring to drive around at town in a cop car just to look out for trouble, but that's what my lazy ass gotta do.
