Alexa slowly opened her eyes unsure of where she was or what had happened. The girl slowly realized she was in her bedroom recognizing the wallpaper and the familiar feeling of her bed.
"Where are they?! Are they okay!?" Alexa asks waking up in a panic. The last thing Alexa remembered was being attacked while Derek and Stiles were trapped in the pool.
"They're both okay." Asher told her as he got up and sat next to her.
"What happened?" Alexa asked her friend.
"Well you were pretty beat up, so you passed out, after Scott chased the kanima away, you started to heal, Derek brought you home." Asher told the girl explaining the situation.
"Kanima?" Alexa asks confused not sure what that meant.
"The monster, or whatever, it's called a kanima, it's supposed to be a werewolf but it can't be." Asher explained as best he could considering he didnt understand it himself. Alexa nodded to his answer.
"Where is everyone?" Alexa asked the boy.
"Derek is doing whatever it is he does and Scott and Stiles are at their houses." Asher shrugged answering the girl.
"How long was I out?" She asked him.
"You slept through the night, it's actually time for school." Asher told her.
"Oh, well I guess I better get ready." Alexa nodded slowly standing up.
"You don't have to go if you don't want to." Asher said smiling comfortingly.
"I know Ash, but I have too." Alexa said returning the charming vampires smile.
At School
Stiles had picked up Alexa 20 minutes ago and the pair drove to school immediately looking for Scott as Stiles has bad news. Issac Lahey was now back in school. Alexa didn't have a problem with Issac, in fact she liked the boy, but Stiles was a frantic mess concerning the new beta.
"Dude, I just talked to my dad, who just talked to Jackson, and I've got really terrible, horrible, very, very bad news..." Stiles panics to Scott as he sits down.
"I think I already know." Scott says as he sees Issac walk into the classroom.
"Maybe it's not that bad?" Alexa added in hoping to comfort the two but considering the boys looked at her with pointed glares it wasn't helping.
