The teenage hybrid had been unconscious for hours now, still slowly healing from the poison that ran through her veins. After what seemed like forever Alexa finally awoken to the sounds of Scott and Derek.

"I'm saying we need a new plan, because next time, one of us is going to be too hurt to heal." Derek says to Scott.

"Ugh, I get it-- we can't save Jackson." Scott sighs.

"We can't seem to kill him, either. I've seen a lot of things, Scott. I've never seen anything like this. Every new moon's just gonna make him stronger." Derek states grimly as Alexa continues to stir awake.

"I would like to know how we stop him?" Alexa said groggily as she sat up. Both guys look at her with a shocked expression not expecting her to be awake yet.

"I don't know. I don't even know if we can." Derek sighed defeatedly.

"Maybe we should just let the Argents handle it..." Scott offers up a new idea.

"I'm the one who turned him. It's my fault." Derek tells him as he shakes his head.

"Yeah, but you didn't turn him into this!" Scott argued back.

"This isn't your fault Derek." Alexa told him as she offered up a small smile. Derek was thankful for her input and smiled back in response.

"I mean, this happened because of something in his past, right?" Scott adds in.

"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." Derek scoffs.

"What do you mean? What aren't you telling me?" Scott asked confused.

"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?" Derek fights back.

"Because you always are keeping something from me!" Scott exclaims annoyed at Derek for hiding things constantly.

"Well, maybe I do it to protect you." Derek said with a huff.

"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets?" Scott asks as he continues to search for answers.

"He's right Derek, you can't keep hiding things." The hybrid chimed in as she stood up.

"Go home, guys. Sleep. Heal. Make sure your friends are safe... 'Cause the full moon's coming, and with the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one" Derek said with a sigh.
