Brandee's POV
By nightfall, I was still at Taraji's house, living in total bliss. She had cooked an amazing meal of vegan Vodka pasta with a side Cesar salad. She had bought a bottle of red wine just for me because she didn't drink anymore. My hair was washed and my belly was full. Taking care of people truly is her love langue, and she speaks it very well. I don't want to leave this paradise and go back to the real world. She's made her home into a fortress of serenity and solitude. I see now why she hardly ever leaves her house. After eating dinner with her, I helped her wash the dishes. She scrubbed while I rinsed, and we fell into a steady rhythm, neither one of us in a rush to finish. I noticed her hips began to sway a little as "Nice & Slow" by Usher played softly throughout the kitchen. She caught me staring at her dancing and she giggled. I was caught off guard when she put down the plate she was washing and grabbed me by my hand, pulling me into the middle of the kitchen floor. I laughed shyly as she began to dance with me, spinning me around. She seems so happy. Happiness looks beautiful on her. Her hands found my waist as the song played on. When she began to sing, it felt like she was singing to me. After awhile I got lost in the movement of her body, and all I could do was stand still and observe.
Taraji: If you don't want to go home tonight, you're welcome to stay in my guest bedroom. It's pretty dark in these hills.
Brandee: It's not like I'll be driving.
Taraji: It's still dangerous. I'm just giving you a safe option.
Brandee: It sounds like you want me to stay without really telling me that you want me to stay.
Taraji: Do you want to go home?
Brandee: Hell no. There's no other place on this Earth that I'd rather be than here with you.
Taraji: Good. So you're staying. You know, it's funny how life has a way of bringing people together.
Brandee: What do you mean?
Taraji: You and I never would have met if I didn't go through that...situation.
Brandee: I don't believe that. I believe we were destined to cross paths, so we would have found each other anywhere.
Taraji: I'm just glad that we found each other.
Brandee: Me too. You're the most beautiful person I've ever met. Inside and out.
Silence followed the words I had spoken, and I suddenly wished that I hadn't said what was on my mind. Taraji was staring at me like she was trying to decipher how she should respond to a sentence that could have been an innocent compliment or something more intimate. She closed in on me and my natural response was to back up, but I really wasn't trying to run from her. When my back touched the edge of her kitchen counter, I realized that I had nowhere to go.
Brandee:*whispers* Taraji.
Taraji: Brandee.
I wasn't sure if she leaned in first or if I did. All I knew was that the feeling of her lips on mine was the holiest sin that had ever been committed. She cupped my cheek with her left hand while her right hand rested on my hip. Her thumb caressed my side as we made out heavily, the kiss growing more intense and passionate as our tongues grappled in a fight for dominance. She moaned into my mouth, whimpering a little when I nibbled on her bottom lip. She moved her left hand from my cheek to my throat, squeezing lightly as smacking noises echoed and bounced off the walls. My brain couldn't comprehend the fact that Taraji P. Henson was kissing me, but my body understood it perfectly and acted accordingly. I rolled my head to the side as my eyes closed, giving her access to kiss my neck, and she did just that. I leaned back against the counter, almost laying the upper half of my body on top of it. Taraji pulled away for just a second to take her shirt off, and before I could start to miss the feeling of her lips on my skin, the sensation was back. She nibbled love bites onto my flesh as my hand played in her hair. She began to kiss down my chest and stomach through my shirt. I sobered a little when I felt her fingers grazing the hemline of my shirt.
Brandee: T, wait. Wait. Stop.
Taraji: What's wrong? Do you not want this?
Brandee: I know that I want this. But do you know? I know what that- that woman did to you. I just don't want you to do something you're not ready for. We can take things slow. I have a lot of patience.
Taraji: I don't.
With that being said, she pulled my shirt up over my head and threw it to the side. She kissed me more aggressively this time, like she was trying to prove a point. She was trying to prove that she was in control, but I could easily see how triggered she was. I pushed her chest lightly and she groaned, clearly frustrated. She stepped back from me, closing her eyes as she ran her hand through her hair.
Taraji: Why are you acting like I'm some broken little girl? I'm a grown ass woman and I know what I want. I like you. You're beautiful and you make me smile every time I'm around you, and I want you. All of you.
Brandee: I want all of you, too, but it seems like you might still be in shambles. Healing isn't a process that happens overnight.
Taraji: Don't you think I know that? I've been trying to do it all my damn life. I had a bad experience, but I don't want to let it chase away all the good experiences I could have. I'm not doing this with you because I feel like I have to. I'm doing this because I want to. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable-
Brandee: You didn't, I promise. It's all consensual over here. Kiss me again. I won't push you away this time.
She granted my wish, kissing me deeper and harder than before. Our hands explored each other's bodies, refusing to stay still. My head was swimming and part of me still couldn't tell if this was really happening or if I was dreaming. We began to lose more clothing as we made our way up the stairs, the kiss never breaking, only intensifying. By the time we reached her bedroom, we were both only in our panties. Whatever happens tonight, I hope that she won't regret it in the morning.
