Two Months Later
After the ordeal with Kendall had ended, things were starting to look up for the three leading ladies of The Color Purple. The time had finally come for the big Los Angeles premier of the newly imagined classic, and Danielle had gotten out of the hospital right on time to be there for it after a successful surgery and weeks of psychical therapy. The friendship between the three women had grown stronger than ever after nearly losing her, and at this point their sisterhood was unbreakable. On top of that, Christmas Eve was the same day as the premier and the holiday cheer was in the air. Fantasia had found a new house for her and the kids, and it was in the same neighborhood as Taraji's house, only some odd 5 minutes away. Feeling an extra dose of the Christmas spirit, Taraji had decided to donate $1,000,000 to the Georgia Memorial Hospital in Brandee's name to honor her and before that she had paid for her entire funeral so that her family wouldn't have to bare any financial burdens. As a matter of fact, she had invited Brandee's family to spend Thanksgiving along with Fantasia and her kids, and Danielle's family. Tempest was still living with Taraji rent free, but the two were getting so close as sisters that Taraji didn't have it in her heart to bring it up. Tonight is the grand purple carpet premier of The Color Purple, and unbeknownst to Taraji and the rest of the cast, Fantasia has something planned that will make the night even bigger and more blog-worthy than it already will be.
Premier Night
Taraji's POV
I stared at myself in the vanity mirror as my stylist adjusted the Swarovski Crystal snake on my neck. At the same time, my makeup artist was putting body shimmer on my arms and chest. I tore my eyes away from my reflection to look at Fantasia who was texting Danielle in the corner of the room, completely oblivious to the way that I was staring at her. If we had this room to ourself, we probably wouldn't make it to the premier. She looks breathtakingly beautiful and sexy and gorgeous and all of the above. There are not enough words in the English language to describe how alluring she is right now. We both decided to wear black and white to give a little hint to our union even though we still aren't out to the public, and she's wearing black and white better than a Dalmatian. It's taking everything in me not to rip her out of that dress that fits her like a second skin and fuck her right in front of the mirror.
