Santorini, Greece is known to be one of the most romantic places in the entire world, and with it being the location for Fantasia and Taraji's wedding, the beautiful city is about to get even more amorous and charming. The couple had flown all of their guests out to Santorini where their wedding would be held on Eros Beach, the most romantic beach on the planet appropriately named after the Greek God of sensual love and desire. The women had decided only a month prior that they wanted their wedding to be Greek Mythology themed, gravitating towards the idea of their celebration being doused in stunning whites, golden lights, and natural greenery for a sultry feel. As it was bad luck for a bride and groom- in their case a bride and bride- to see each other before the wedding, they were currently getting prepared on opposite wings of the Castle Of Oia, the 15th-century historical landmark that they had rented out with a blessing from the Santorini government and citizens for their family and friends. Their wedding was going to be on the beach and the reception would be in the castle. It was the dream, picture-perfect setup. Taraji could hardly sit still in her makeup chair as her mom, sister, and her best friends Tracie Jade, Mary J. Blige, Gabrielle Union, and Regina King fussed over her and buzzed around the room with excitement.
On the other side, Fantasia was getting ready with the company of her oldest daughter, her mom, and her close friends Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Hudson, and Kandi Burrus. Having her mom there was just the cherry on top of her happiness sundae to make her special day even more special. The younger Barrino woman and the older Barrino woman had their issues, but Fantasia was inspired by Taraji's relationship with her mom to extend an olive branch to her own mother, and it was the best decision she had made in a long time besides proposing to Taraji. Even the couple's therapist Dr. Bowen was in the room drinking with the ladies and soaking up the good vibes. It was only right that Fantasia invited her, because without Dr. Bowen this day might not have come.
As the maid of honor, Danielle was given her very own glam room that she was sharing with the two adorable flower girls Keziah and Freeya, helping them get into their dresses while she herself was being fitted into her custom Vera Wang gown. All the bridesmaids were to wear black, and Danielle wore it very well.
