Omniscient's POV
In the midst of planning Danielle's appreciation party, Fantasia and Taraji were having their first therapy session today with Dr. Bowen. They found Dr. Bowen on Google and looked through all of her socials next. She graduated at the top of her class from Duke University with a major in psychology and a minor in marriage and family wellness. Her full name is Annalise Bowen, and she's married to renowned brain surgeon Eric Bowen. Together they have two beautiful children- a 14 year-old daughter and a 7 year-old son. Her credentials were impressive, but the fact that she was married to a man and essentially would have no chance of being attracted to either women was enough to sell them on her. She had dazzling reviews from her past clients that she still seemed to be connected with to this day, based on the comments they had read together. They trusted that they would be in good hands with Dr. Bowen, but both women were still rattling with nerves. They sat in the common area of Dr. Bowen's practice, Fantasia anxiously bouncing her leg and Taraji rubbing her sweaty hands up and down her own thighs. The urge to walk out and jump into their car was damn near irresistible for both women, but this counseling session would be necessary to make their new home a happy and healthy one.
After stewing in their anxiety for about 10 minutes, Dr. Bowen's assistant had finally called them back to her office. They held hands, slowly digesting the situation they were in and some of the things that lead them to this place right now. Dr. Bowen's office smelled like vanilla and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and all of the plants set a serene mood for her clients. She was a visually striking woman standing at about 5'7 with impossibly clear dark skin, wide brown eyes, big lips, a slender frame, and a close-cropped haircut that only highlighted her unforgettable facial features. She looked like she should have been walking in Milan Fashion Week, not counseling volatile couples. She had an inviting and warm aura about her that soothed both women's nerves a little bit.
She hugged the skittish couple, enveloping the women in her pleasant scent of ylang-ylang with a touch of vanilla. Fantasia and Taraji traded looks with arched eyebrows, both women silently acknowledging and agreeing that their new therapist was gorgeous to look at. It wasn't a look of lust or anything sexual, just an appreciation of her beauty. After all, they only had eyes for each other.
