"Last year, my Captain received an anonymous message from someone. Unsure about who they were, he wanted to block whoever it was, but before he could do that..."
The man sighed for a second.
"The person sent him an attachment that read "Calm-calm model." The Calm-Calm fruit was the devil fruit that Cora-San ate.
He was the man that saved our Captain's life... When the Captain saw the picture, man.. You shoulda seen the way his eyes widened.
I had never seen him so deeply immersed in a single picture."
Sanji could barely keep his eyes away from the man's face as he narrated the strange experience Law had.
"Ever since, he hasn't stopped. He won't ever stop tracking that man down, and neither will we. That malfeasant evil-doer is a criminal worse than pirates like us."
The way Jean Bart described Vergo to Sanji was much appealing and accurate to the younger.
The Cook went as far as adding in a few additional words of his own, dedicating every last letter to his rapist without showing a single shred of humanity towards him.
"Indeed, he's not just an enemy of the Marines or Pirates... His malice is enough to make the entire world detest a man so ruthless and cunning."
The elder man stated, lacing his fingers together while falling into a pensive state of mind.
When their conversation died down, Sanji himself was also left with many thoughts to contemplate on, so he let his vision drift off into the distance, finding a moment of solitude to gather the scattered thoughts before they became troublesome for his state of mentality.
"The hate you give, will be the strength I'll gain. One day, we'll all watch you crumble in the palm of Luffy's hand for all that you've done... Especially to him."
The Cook unintentionally squeezed a hard plastic cup in his hand until the pressure he applied to it was too much for the disposable object that it shattered into a cluster of small pieces.
Distracted by the ruckus, Jean Bart's eyes targeted a particle of plastic that had landed beside his feet and slowly picked it off of the floor.
He then focused on Sanji, giving him a blank expression that didn't seem neither judgemental or proud.
Acting rather uncaring in regards to the older man's reaction, Sanji stared down at the broken cup in his hand, sulking in silence.
~Meanwhile~
"Captain, I wanted to report that we got everything done already, just as you ordered... Captain?"
Shachi questioned, approaching Law who was hunched over the motherboard, typing at the speed of light on the computer, looking more concentrated than ever.
"Something's gotta give. Come on, work with me... Work...."
He ominously spoke to himself, never once taking the time to rest his aching hands and dry eyes that were sapped of energy and moisture.
Shortly after Shachi arrived, the Surgeon slammed his hands against his wooden desk, feeling disappointed by the outcome his computer ended up with.
"I can't turn it off, can't remove our location, and certainly can't dispose of it in the trash, as much as I would love to, because of the important files I have on here. This is a pain in the ass."
The dark haired Captain heaved a sigh full of regrets after being outdone by his very own electronic device.
"Technology isn't really my strong point, but I knew this computer like the back of my hand..."
