"It all makes sense now."
Chopper walked out of the kitchen, empty-handed, but full of speculations on his mind while thinking back to the discussion that Zoro and Sanji were having.
He gave Luffy a quick look, watching as he and Franky ended a conversation of their own, in the dining room.
"Oi, Chopper! Wait up!"
The short Doctor shuddered at the sound of Sanji's voice.
Hearing it made him think that he had been caught spying on him and Zoro, in the kitchen.
"Weren't you going to eat something?"
"E-eh? No, it's o-okay! I-"
"Really, now?"
Chopper tensed up, watching Sanji bending down to his height, appearing to have something behind his hand.
"Such a shame... I was saving this just for you."
Chopper's eyes lit up like fireworks on the Fourth of July as Sanji took out a small dish with a caramel coated flan.
"Oi, Brook! Want some-"
"No! No! I want it!! Give it to me, please!"
The reindeer insisted, reaching his hooves out to grab the plate, with excitement.
Sanji grinned at him then he gave him a short pat on the head, placing the plate on the dining table as Chopper sat on one of the chairs where he had placed his dessert, thanking him.
"Bon appetite, Doc."
The blonde man was about to say something else to Chopper, but the sight of his Captain got ahold of his attention.
"Want some as well, Luffy?"
He asked, thinking that the young man would nod at him without a second thought.
But he didn't. Instead, the Captain had another idea on his mind.
"I'm going to..."
Originally, Luffy planned on resting for a bit on the couch. However, he discarded the possibility of doing that after he noticed that two of his crewmates were in the living room.
"Where you going?"
Sanji asked after the Captain left him on a cliffhanger with his sentence.
"To get something. I'll be back."
The Captain responded, using the strength within the back of his legs to push his chair back, standing up from it.
"Let me help you."
At first sight, Sanji couldn't understand why Luffy was rejecting his support, but after he motioned at Chopper, using his eyes, the Cook realized what he meant.
"I'll help you find that book. You took it from the library a while ago and ended up losing it in your room, didn't you?"
"Uh- Oh, oh, yeah I did."
Luffy nervously replied, earning Robin's attention.
"A book? Which one?"
She asked, showing interest in Luffy and Sanji's discussion.
"A- We- It's-"
Staring at Robin's face, Sanji lost the ability to lie in front of her.
"Our Captain reading is something that I find a bit unusual as well."
The woman continued.
"It's a picture book of- Ah, wait!! That guy remembers it, Robin-Chan!"
"Remembers wh- Where'd they go?"
