46. Mohini Takes Command

Mohini POV 

I look at Avantika and Naina with embarrased expression while they are trying to supress their smiles. 

I was so lost in Raja-sa that I didn't notice their presence until I almost gave them a show. 

I just feel embarrased thinking what they would have seen if I had been successful in opening his kurta and attacked him. 

They will be surely traumatised for their whole life. 

And everyday I would wish for the earth to open up and take me in. 

They both don't speak up just look at me and increase my misery. 

Fortunately Swati comes and says to me, 

'Rani-sa, I got all the herbs that you asked me to bring to you, is that enough?' 

I look at it and sign, satisfied by the quantity, 

'It is more than enough, ask someone to store them in small jars, each one should be in different jars.' 

She frowns at that and says, 

'But you wanted these to study on them, why are you telling them to store now?' 

I just sign with an uncomfortable smile, 

'Raja-sa wants to discuss some urgent matter with me, so right now I am not free to work on them.' 

She nods thoughtfully then calls the attendees and instructs them on how to keep it. 

The attendees collect all the herbs and take my books with them to keep it. 

Swati notices the awkward atmosphere between us and says with a frown, 

'What did I miss? Why are you all standing so stiff and awkward?' 

Avantika amusedly replies, 

'I am not at all awkward and stiff, its mainly Mohini and maybe Naina.' 

Swati asks, 

'Why?' 

Trying to supress her smile she says, 

'If you have been fast enough or we have been late enough then probably you would have been traumatised by the show in the sitting area.' 

She becomes confused and thinks to herself for some moment then it dawns on her, she also tries to supress her smile. 

She says, 

'Pretty sure, I came really close to that.' 

Avantika eyes light up for a new gossip and says eagerly, 

'Oh please do tell me.' 

I glare at them, they are gathered here to embarass me. 

I clap to get their attention then sign as Swati translates, 

'Tell me why are you here instead of gossiping or I am going?' 

Naina replies with her own smile, 

'You are the one who called for us to come here.' 

I remember it now, I had to talk to them about harem but right now I can't talk about it, when Raja-sa is waiting for me.
