Mohini POV

I knock on Naina's door seeing her awake as she is talking with Ekansh dewarsa.

Yesterday I didn't get any time to talk to anyone as I was so immersed in the celebration of birthday of Late Queen.

Plus Avantika also kept her away from me and I understand why she did it.

Naina looks up at me which vanishes her smile and I wince inwardly.

I hurt her so bad that she is just cringing seeing me.

Ekansh dewarsa looks at me and stands up and says with a smile,

'Come Bhabhisaa, I will go so have your talk with your friends.'

I return his smile and nod my head. I look back at Naina who has pasted a smile on her face.

Ekansh dewarsa leaves and I cringe more when I enter further.

Because Avantika is sitting on the couch, painting something and she doesn't even look up at my entrance.

I go and sit by Naina then sign as Swati translates,

'I hope you are feeling well now?'

She answers with a nod of a head and a genuine smile.

Then she looks away, I hold her hand in desperation and she looks back at me with questioning eyes then look down at my hands on her.

I remove it and sign with Swati translating,

'I am sorry Naina so much, I never wanted to hurt you, if I had any inkling that it could hurt you and Raja-sa like this, I would have never said those things like that.'

She gives a tight smile as she says,

'You haven't gone through what I have gone through so I can't exactly blame you.'

I wince because she just slapped me with her words and that hurt too much than a real slap.

Before I can sign anything else, she speaks up,

'You would have hurt me and Agam even if you had an inkling.'

My mouth falls open at that and I shake my head but she stops me by showing her hand then says,

'Because in your mind you wanted the truth and you didn't care how you get it, if that in your delusional mind thinks can save everyone with this truth. So you would have done that.'

My face falls and eyes lowers because she is right to some extent.

Naina speaks again looking away from me,

'There are many secrets in these walls of Suryagarh palace some for the good of their own people, some which are bad.'

Then she looks me in the eyes and says,

'We have accepted you as our family member but some secrets are better left unknown and if you really are so curious then find them without hurting anyone or letting others know.

Only after knowing the whole truth think of it whether this secret best be buried or told to everyone.'

I think about it for a moment and nod my head because she is right.

Suddenly Avantika speaks up from behind,

'And easy way to know something without hurting anyone is to ask us or Agam himself. Asking would hurt less then exposing the wounds to the salt.'

I whip around to her who is looking at me with cool and assessing eyes.

I stand up and sign as Swati translates,
