Agam POV

I open my eyes slowly, there is thump in my head giving me a headache.

Everything looks blurry and I blink my eyes couple times to clear my vision.

I try to move my hand which is taking effort, it feels like I have been sleeping in the same position for too long.

My movement feels languid, slow, lazy and uncoordinated.

Even my mind feels uncoordinated and lazy.

What happened? Why am I lying down? I can hear the murmuring sounds in the room.

I close my eyes to collect myself and then open my eyes which scare me because my family and friends are looking down on me forming a circle.

They are looking at me like I am a unique species.

I ask,

'Why are you all looking at me like this?'

They move back at that, I see the royal doctor coming forward, he helps me to sit up.

He moves back and suddenly Naina rushes to hug me while she cries as she says,

'Hum sab kitna darr gaye the, par bhagwan ki daya se aap thik ho gaye.'

'We all were so scared, but by the grace of God you are cured.'

I can't understand what she is talking about, wait why am I here instead of my room with Mohini?

Naina moves back after hugging me.

I look around but I can't find Mohini anywhere, where is she? Is she okay or not? What happened?

Bua-sa comes forward with tears in her eyes, caresses my face and says,

'Taras gaye the aapki aankhein dekhne ko, bhagawan ne humari mannat puri kar di isse adhik hum kuch nahi chahte.'

'I longed to see your eyes, God has fulfilled my wish, I want nothing more than this.'

I nod but my eyes still try to find Mohini, panic is rising in me at the thought of her away from me.

Bua-sa frowns and asks me,

'What are you trying to find, Agam?'

I reply while shaking my head,

'I was just... looking for Mohini. Where is she? Why she is not here?'

This changes her expression into furious one and she spits out angrily,

'Don't talk about her, you are here because of her only. I just wish I had some way to keep her away from you.'

I frown at her when the memories slam to me which makes my head pain and I wince making everyone worried.

I just raise my hand to stop everyone while I close my eyes. The pain slowly goes away.

I look at Viraj and demand,

'Where is she? Is she injured? Did you have her checked out?'

I tried to protect her but no one was there when my eyes closed.

Bua-sa looks at me with slacked jaw. I focus on Viraj who just shakes his head and makes calm down gesture with his hand.

That indicates me to talk about it later and if he is so calm then she must be uninjured and safe.

Bua-sa recovers and says in a hard tone,

'I won't allow her to come near you, till you are recovered I will take care of you.'
