So, it has been two months since I moved to Seattle. I love the city but hate the traffic. I miss Zed so much, but he has been really good and comes to visit every weekend. I have offered to make the drive and visit him, and he always tells me he doesn't want me driving that far.

He is the absolute sweetest; every Friday, when he shows up, he has Lillie's one for each day we have been apart.

We have gone to all the fun places when he visits. We enjoy dinner, and sometimes we even go out with Trevor and Krystal, who he has been dating from the office.

We took the ferry just to go somewhere new. He is such a great person. Mom has been a little kinder because she knows he put me first and pushed me to move to Seattle.

He said he hadn't seen anyone except Jace, who stopped by the day I left. He has tried to avoid all of them. He sits at the back of the Literature class so he can leave before they see him.

Time apart has been good but bad as well. Good, so we can both focus on school and bad because I miss seeing him every day.

I join Trevor and Krystal for lunch. Sometimes, other times, I join Kimberly. Then, some days, I eat in my office, staring at pictures of Zed.

Kimberly laughs at me, telling me I got it bad the way I miss him the days he isn't here. Christian and Kimberly both like Zed and we have a nice time when he is in town.

I just keep counting down the days until he will be here with me in this city. He got his transfer approved last week. So, we will both be enrolled at the CWU Seattle campus in September.

Three more months apart. He told me he was taking me to a cabin for Spring Break, just the two of us. I can't wait to have an entire week alone with him.

Also, in three more months, I will visit Florida for the first time and meet his family. I spoke to his parents while they were on video chat with Zed a few weeks ago. When he was visiting, his mother was very sweet and excited to meet me.

I am also nervous but excited to meet them and visit Florida since I have never been out of Washington. It's really great that Zed and I can sit in a room together for hours just reading.

I finish getting dressed and head to work. Since moving here, my twenty-minute travel time has now turned into an hour commute.

I found a cute little coffee shop that has the best americano, so I stop every morning on my way into the office or school.

I am so happy Zed will be here in eight hours. I can't wait to see him, kiss him, hug him, and make love to him.

I go into my office and start reading a new manuscript. I was so lost in the story that I didn't realize it was lunchtime until Kimberly knocked on my door.

"Hey chick, are you ready for lunch?"

"Huh? What?"

"Are you ready for lunch?"

"Is it lunchtime already? I swear I just walked in the door."

"Yes, actually, it's past our lunchtime because I got hung up on a call. That manuscript must be really good if you lost track of the time."

"It really is. Please let me know when it's time for me to go home. I don't want to lose track of time and not get a shower before Zed arrives."

"Okay, I will set an alarm to tell you it's time to go home and get ready for your hunky man to visit. Will you and Zed be joining us at the club tonight?"

"I'm not sure. I will have to see if he has any plans when he gets here." We went to lunch at this Mexican restaurant down the street from work.

When we arrived at the office, I returned to reading the manuscript. When Kimberly comes knocking on my door.
