Four years later:
Life is still good, we are still happy, and our kids are getting so big. Tessa and I both got fixed so there would be no more little ones running around.
She is huge in the publishing world, running Vance Publishing. She loves her job and has raised all four of our kids while working full-time.
She is still so beautiful that sometimes when I look at her and our family, I can't believe that this is my life. How did I get so fucking lucky in this life? I ask myself this often.
Our tenth anniversary is in two days, and we are throwing a huge party. They have been setting up the tents and tables for the party.
There will be a lot of people from her work and a lot from mine at our party. She has invited some of her favorite authors to join us and talk some business. I know my wife, and I am okay with that.
All of our kids will be in school in two months. Our babies, the twins, will start Preschool; Isabel is in First grade, and Liam is in fourth. They are growing up so fast way too fast for this Daddy.
Tessa and I have had to be more careful. Samantha walked in on us making love the other morning. We covered up and told her we would be out in just a moment.
We didn't get to finish, and it was feeling so fucking good. So, now we lock the door every night. We finished that night several times to make up for earlier.
Thankfully, we were in the spooning position, so Sam really didn't realize what was going on, and Tessa's moans were soft, so she didn't hear her.
I couldn't move, so Tessa and I were connected while we talked to our daughter. When she left, I pulled out and went down on her to get her off. I took a shower and finished myself. She offered, but I knew Sam would be back.
Ten years, and I still couldn't get enough of her. My favorite time of year was our anniversary. We always took a trip, sometimes for one week, other times for two. We would make love everywhere and all the time. It was nice to have no chance of an interruption.
I had moved up from my position at work into a new position with higher pay and fewer hours. Tessa loved that, and since the twins, we had more family time. She worked nine to two, and I worked seven to three.
We had an amazing life together, and I was so thankful for each and every day I had her in my life, even the days she was sweet on Hardin.
He got married, and they have a little one that was born two weeks ago. Tessa and I went to New York City and saw his baby. He seemed happy enough but still held out the hope to one day be with my girl.
Landon and Nora have two kids. They are still in New York City and happily married. They come up to visit all the time, and we go down there.
Ken and Karen have stepped further into the role of being Tessa's parents. Ken asked Tessa what she would think if they officially adopted her. Even though she is an adult and married, they wanted her to know that she was their family.
She agreed, and they officially became her parents three months ago. She was so happy about that. Her mother called my work three months after we blocked her. I told Carol she did this to herself, and she had to deal with the consequences of not being involved in her daughter's and grandchildren's lives. I agreed with my wife and would always support her.
She huffed and hung up; that was the last contact we had with her. So, as for Tessa and Landon, they have been best friends, and now they are siblings, and she loves it. Hardin still talks to Ken, and he and Christian have now started a relationship as father and son.
