So, Tessa just delivered our babies. Yes, you heard that right, we had twins. So, we got our four kids in three pregnancies instead of four.

We were a little shocked when we got the news, but we wrapped our heads around the shock and both prepared for two babies.

Tessa gained a lot more weight with this pregnancy and even got a few stretch marks due to her skin stretching so much with the twins.

She was a little upset when she saw them in the mirror. I bought her some lotion that is supposed to help remove them.

I told her they were sexy because I would always remember how beautiful she was carrying our babies. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "They will be disgusting once I deliver the babies."

I looked at her and caressed her cheek, "Baby, they would never be disgusting. You are beautiful, and those tiny marks are proof that you carried my children. We have been blessed with two precious angels to join our family. Tessa, my love, you should know me by now to know that I would never be disgusted by you. I love you with all my heart and soul."

She leaned in and kissed me, "Thank you for saying that, and I know. I guess I am projecting myself and my feelings onto you. They feel nasty, and they are ugly, but you would never feel that way, and I know that. I love you with every fiber in my body. I still can't believe we are having twins."

"I know me either." I leaned in and kissed her so passionately.

She went into labor three weeks early. Both our babies were healthy, and they were perfect. We had a boy and a girl. Liam has dark hair and looks just like me. Isabel is Tessa's mini-me; our twins are complete opposites. They are fraternal twins. So, they aren't identical.

We had one of each, a boy and a girl. Our son was born first; he weighed five pounds and three ounces and was nineteen inches long. We named him Samuel Jacob. He has blonde hair and bluish-gray eyes, just like his mother.

Our daughter weighed five pounds even and was eighteen inches long. We named her Samantha Jessica. So their initials are the same, and their names are similar, but they don't rhyme. She has dark hair and grey eyes, just like me.

They are absolutely adorable. We are so in love with our babies. I love my wife so much when I see her holding our babies. One latched onto each boob.

I burp and change them. They are two weeks old, and they are perfect. My wife has four kids. We got two boys and two girls.

Carol hasn't been in to visit Tessa or the kids in over six months. Karen and Ken flew in before the twins were born, but her own mother didn't.

Tessa hasn't been talking to her mom very often. She isn't very happy with her. She has told her that she needed to be more involved in our life and the kids but she hasn't. Tessa threatened her that if she didn't start being more involved, she would stop all communication with Carol.

The babies are finished eating I walk over and grab Samuel. I burp him and change his diaper. Then, I laid him down. I walked back over and picked up Samantha. I burp her and change her diaper. Then, lay her down.

I walk into the living room and sit down with my wife. "They are both sleeping away. So, are you okay with having the twins? I mean, was it okay that we got four kids with three pregnancies? Fuck, I know what I am trying to ask, but it's not coming out right."

"Babe, calm down. I understand what you mean. Yes, I am fine with it. We have our four precious babies, we have two handsome boys, and two beautiful girls. They are all perfect, and our family is complete. I have already spoken to my doctor about getting my tubes tied. Are you okay with it? I mean, are you happy with our family, or do you want more?"

"Yes, I am perfectly happy with our family, and no, I don't want any more unless you do. I mean, if you want more, I will be more than happy to give you as many as you want."

"No, babe, I am perfectly happy. We agreed years ago we wanted four kids and we have four kids. Now, we concentrate on raising them and teaching them to be proper humans. Once they are all grown and off to college, then you and I can spend the rest of our lives together alone, having lots of fun."

"Eighteen years to go, we have Liam's birthday in February, Isabel's is in January, two weeks before Liam's, and Samantha and Samuel's will be in May."

She laughed, "So, the countdown begins until we have an empty nest." He wiggled his eyebrows at her, and she leaned in and kissed him. "Zed, thank you for a happy life and for my, our beautiful children."

He smiled, "You, my beautiful wife, are very welcome. Thank you for making me so happy, making life worth living, and for our precious children. I never knew I needed as much as I did."

"Hey, Babe, I have something important to discuss with you. I am really fed up with my mother, and the threats have done no good. She hasn't changed or even tried to be more involved with us. I am at the point of cutting all ties with her and stopping all communications by blocking her. Would I be a horrible person if I did?"

"No, baby, you would be getting rid of a toxic person. I know you have tried, and it bothers you when Lim asks why Grandma doesn't come to visit. I love you, and I will support whatever decision you make, and I will be sure to stand my ground and protect you. If this is really what you want, then I will also block her. I will always protect my family, and I am so sorry she isn't trying to be in your life."

She sat there a minute as she thought it over. She grabbed her phone, sent a text, and said, "I have blocked her. I told her I tried, but I did warn her that if she wasn't going to be involved in mine and our kid's life, then I had no other choice. I loved her, but I am finished trying. As of now, she has been blocked, and I hope she has a happy life."

Zed wrapped his arms around me and held me as I cried. He grabbed his phone and smiled, "She is blocked on my phone as well. I am really proud of you for standing up to her. I love you, baby."

"Thank you, and I love you." He leaned in and kissed her. Zed played with Liam and Isabel for a bit while Tessa rested.

Liam had his little preschool graduation a few weeks later. Next up is Kindergarten. Isabel is two now and still as beautiful as her mother.

Zed's job is going great. His plants have bloomed, and he is working on creating a glowing rose bush.

Life is good, and we are happy. We are still very much in love. We celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary in June.

Trevor and I are still running Vance's publishing office in upper New York State. Sales are good, and business is booming.

I finally talked Hardin into publishing his next book with us. He and Natalie are doing great, and they are finally engaged.
