[A] pair of sleek shoes was seen gliding across the leaf-strewn path, anticipation hanging heavy in the air.
The owner of said elegant shoes strolled casually, hands tucked into his pockets, and moving with effortless grace.
After navigating through the expansive grounds and winding hallways, he arrives at a building housing classrooms.
Finally, he reached his destination: a set of imposing doors.
With a simple push, he opened the doors, revealing a tall man on the other side, dressed in the distinctive uniform of Jujutsu High.
"Even for you, Satoru, this is pushing it. A little courtesy wouldn't hurt," the man remarked, his tone tinged with exasperation.
Attempting to humble a man as cocky and toweringly confident as Gojo Satoru felt like an exercise in futility, he conceded.
With a shrug, Gojo Satoru, renowned as the strongest sorcerers of all times, grinned. "Oh, come on, Yaga-sensei! What's the harm in a surprise visit?"
Principal Yaga sighed. "Let's get down to business, Satoru. I called you here for a reason."
Gojo Satoru didn't wait for an invitation before lounging on the couch, adopting his trademark relaxed posture.
It was almost a challenge to the atmosphere of the room.
Principal Yaga, accustomed to Gojo's casual demeanor, walked around his desk and took a seat across from him, placing an A4-sized envelope on the table.
As it landed, a few papers spilled out, including a photo that caught Gojo's attention, eliciting a mischievous grin.
The strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer glanced down at the photograph casually.
It would seemed like he already had a hunch about what this meeting was about.
Principal Yaga poured two cups of tea, his movements deliberate yet relaxed. He placed one cup in front of Gojo before settling back into his own seat.
"We'll have a newcomer dropping by as we speak," he began, his tone carrying a hint of seriousness beneath its usual warmth. "I considered briefing you a little."
Gojo raised an eyebrow, nonchalantly dropping four to five sugar cubes into his drink. After giving it a thorough stir, he leaned back further into the couch, sipping his tea. "Oh?"
With a sigh, Principal Yaga picked up the spilled papers, including the photograph, and organized them neatly. "A couple of weeks ago, there was a bounty on the head of the person in the photograph's brother," he explained, his gaze steady on Gojo. "Ryusaki L/N. It was reported that he died trying to protect something. None of us know what, though."
Gojo's grin widened at the mention of a mystery. "Sounds like my kind of job," he remarked, setting down his tea cup.
Principal Yaga cleared his throat, his tone shifting to one of seriousness as he continued the briefing. "Our intel indicates that Ryusaki L/N was just an ordinary citizen managing a tea house with his younger sister in Kyoto. However, he recently faced off against professional sorcerers without any curse energy, managing to hold his ground for quite a bit before passing away. The elders believe his sister, Y/N L/N, might hold key information or be the target herself. Who better than you for the job?"
Gojo's charismatic demeanor faltered slightly. "Wait, you want me to protect her while investigating?" he questioned, a hint of seriousness underlying his usual goofiness.
Yaga nodded solemnly. "That's exactly it," he confirmed.
"Well, we all remember how that went down last time," Gojo remarked, a shadow passing over his features.
"She's not another Riko Amanai. So you can have it easy." Yaga reassured him, noticing the shift in Gojo's demeanor.
"So, I'm on babysitting duty and detective work, huh?" Gojo mused, his grin returning. "Well, looks like Yuta, Maki, Toge, and Panda are in for a treat with guarding duty of a new potential classmate."
"There are a couple more things to consider," Yaga added, taking a sip of his tea. "Y/n L/N likely possesses some latent curse energy, though she's probably unaware of it."
Gojo nodded thoughtfully. "And the second?"
"She's 25, definitely not in the same age range as your students," Yaga replied pointedly.
Gojo's expression shifted momentarily, a mixture of surprise and amusement crossing his face before settling back into his usual confident grin. "Ah, just when I thought it couldn't get any better," he quipped.
