"Looks like you've got a lot in common with L/N-san, sensei," Yuta remarked casually, a warm smile spreading across his lips.

"Aight," Gojo acknowledged, raising his index fingers to his students as if to emphasize his agreement. "But she's just so icy towards me."

"Maybe it's because you're always teasing her," Yuta suggested, a chuckle escaping him.

"Teasing her? Me? Never!" Gojo exclaimed with mock innocence.

"Come on, Gojo-sensei, it's like you enjoy getting a rise out of her," Yuta teased playfully.

"Well, maybe she just needs to loosen up a bit."

"Or maybe you need to dial back the teasing," Yuta countered, amusement evident in his tone.

"Nah, where's the fun in that?" Gojo chuckled, shrugging nonchalantly.

"You do realize that's probably why she's so cold towards you, right?" Yuta pointed out, shaking his head incredulously.

"Eh, I'll figure it out eventually."

Your eyes shifted between Yuta and Gojo, observing their dynamic with a mix of confusion and curiosity. The teacher-student bond between them was truly remarkable. No wonder Gojo Satoru was so attached to his students and them to him.

"Ah, I'll take my leave now," you interjected, a subtle reminder of your presence amidst their banter. After all, they were discussing you as if you weren't even there.

"Alright," Yuta nodded, while Gojo flashed a smile in your direction.

"See you later, Y/N," he said, his voice almost husky and... sexy.

You couldn't help the shiver that run down your spine.

"Okay," you simply replied, feeling a bit dazed as you ascended the stairs.

Gojo's invitation lingered in your mind, leaving you wondering what he wanted to discuss.

As you made your way, somewhat lost in thought, you crossed paths with Shoko, casually puffing out smoke. You realized she was smoking only when her eyes landed on you and she smiled mildly, catching you staring.

"Hey," she greeted you again.

"Hey," you responded calmly, approaching her. "So you smoke?"

"Only when I'm feeling exhausted or stressed," she admitted honestly, tossing the cigarette on the ground and stomping on it.

You frowned at that.

"What's got you stressed, then?"

"Isn't it obvious?" she asked, her tone tinged with frustration. "Gojo Satoru."

"Eh?" Your face twisted into a queasy expression. It was like everyone's conversations seemed to revolve around a certain white-haired sorcerer lately. "Why am I not surprised?"

"You never are, Y/N," Shoko pointed out. "And when you are, you're as cold as ice."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You're rarely expressive, so it's kind of hard to tell," she explained, smiling at your blank expression.

"That's just... uh, I actually don't have any excuse," you admitted.

"So you're not going to ask?" Shoko raised an eyebrow.

"Ask what?" you replied quickly, as if the mere mention of Gojo's name was enough to make you lose interest in the conversation.

Shoko studied you for a moment before shaking her head with a small chuckle. "Never mind. You're always a mystery, Y/N."

You shrugged, feeling a bit awkward under her gaze. "I guess that's just how I am."
