[Y]our heart skipped a beat.
This was Gojo, after all—he never did things by half measures, especially not when it came to games.
You rolled your eyes, but there was no denying the heat that crept up your neck. "You're such an ass," you muttered, though it came out more amused than angry.
"He's not holding back tonight," Shoko noted, leaning back into her seat with a smirk. She looked like she was enjoying the show.
You stood up, feeling Gojo's eyes burning into you, watching your every move with that lazy, predatory grin.
"You're seriously gonna do what he says?" Nanami's voice cut in, his usual skepticism tinged with amusement.
You shrugged, tossing a quick glance over your shoulder. "It's just a game."
Sinichi, who had been lounging off to the side, chuckled softly, his eyes following you with interest. He tilted his head, voice low and teasing, "Good one. Should've asked that myself." There was a glint in his eyes that was more unsettling than playful.
Ignoring his gaze, you stopped in front of Gojo, who was watching you with open amusement. "You gonna make space for me, or what?" You asked smugly, and with a hint of seductiveness.
The strongest laughed, his hands already moving to guide you onto his lap. His grip was firm but playful, his fingers grazing your waist in a way that sent an involuntary shiver up your spine. "You know," he whispered, his breath warm against your ear, "you didn't have to choose the lap option. The other one sounded more fun."
You gave him a look, but the corners of your lips betrayed a smile. "Shut up."
The room buzzed with amusement, and Utahime blinked at you, genuinely surprised. "Wow, you're really gonna sit there, Y/N?" she asked, incredulous.
You smirked, leaning back into Gojo's chest, feeling his warmth seep through your skin. "Looking down on the strongest has its perks," you quipped, earning a few laughs from the others. Even Nanami's lips twitched in amusement.
Gojo chuckled, his arms loosely wrapped around your waist. "Careful, you might get used to it."
The bottle continued to spin, landing on various players as the game went on, but the tension between you and Gojo only grew. Mei Mei dared Shoko to take five shots, which she did without batting an eye, and when Sinichi's turn came, he landed on Utahime, missing you by just a second. His smirk was dangerous as he stared her down. "Truth or dare?"
Utahime glanced around, feeling the weight of Sinichi's intense gaze. "Truth," she replied, playing it safe.
"What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done in front of someone you liked?"
Utahime blushed, but her answer was quick, almost mechanical—she wasn't about to let him see her flustered. "I tripped and fell flat on my face in front of a senior... once."
Sinichi chuckled, clearly unimpressed, and returned his attention to you and Gojo. His smirk didn't waver, and it was clear where his interest lay.
As the game progressed, you found yourself more aware of Gojo's presence. His hands, warm against your waist, his chest rising and falling against your back, and the way he occasionally whispered something teasing in your ear, just loud enough for you to hear but quiet enough to make your skin tingle.
Eventually, the bottle spun in your favor again. This time, it landed on Gojo. Perfect.
You grinned, leaning closer to him, your breath fanning his lips. "Truth or dare?"
Gojo raised an eyebrow, his trademark grin still in place. "Dare, obviously."
Of course, he wasn't about to pick truth. Not Gojo. He thrived on the chaos.
You leaned in, your voice low and teasing, "Be my pet for the night. No talking unless I say so. Or..." you trailed off, letting the tension build, "drink the entire bottle of wine. Your choice."
Gojo's grin broadened, his eyes glinting with a wicked blend of mischief and intrigue. "You like to play dirty, don't you?" he murmured, his voice low and barely above a whisper. The warm brush of his breath against your neck sent electric sparks racing through you—fireworks igniting in your core.
"Choose, Gojo," you teased, tilting your head just enough to meet his gaze. "Or are you backing out?"
His hand tightened slightly on your waist, a silent promise that he wasn't going anywhere. "Backing out? Never," he murmured, his thumb tracing lazy circles against your hip, a touch so subtle yet electric.
Gojo's eyes narrowed playfully, assessing his options, but you could see the spark of excitement in his expression. He lived for these challenges, these games of push and pull.
"I'll be your pet," he finally declared, his voice loud enough for the rest of the group to hear now, his grin widening as he leaned closer, his lips brushing your ear. "But you're not ready for what that means."
A collective gasp echoed around the table. Shoko nearly choked on her drink while Utahime blinked, eyes wide, clearly regretting her previous question to Nanami.
Nanami just sighed, adjusting his glasses with a resigned shake of his head, though you could catch the faintest smirk pulling at his lips. "You two never change."
