[T]o Gojo Satoru, you were an enigma waiting to be unraveled.

The moment Ijichi pulled up beside you in that rain, his eyes landing on your figure, he was reminded of a time when he, too, had worn such a lifeless, stern gaze.

In his eyes, you became a puzzle he couldn't resist solving.

It was as if you had ignited a spark of curiosity within him, compelling him to delve deeper into your story, even though he already had a faint idea of what it might entail.

So when he'd spotted you in the downpour, solitary and determined, his initial thought was simple: stubborn.

You were incredibly stubborn, but he could be too, at times.

"Feeling better now?" you asked.

You were for the most part cold, aloof, and oddly standoffish. But despite your demeanor, Gojo couldn't help but notice the gentle way you addressed Yuta.

In fact, as he observed you in action, he realized that you hadn't retaliated against any of his students' attacks earlier in the day either.

And it left him wondering why.

"Hai!" Yuta exclaimed politely, before continuing, "But anyway, L/N san," he began, bowing respectfully, with the others following suit, "please accept our apologies for the attack, the harm caused, and the damage inflicted on your belongings."

"Please accept our apologies."

"Please accept our apologies."

"Salmon."

Maki, Panda and Toge, all apologized simultaneously after Yuta.

"Now, now, Y/N," Gojo chimed in with a playful tone, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Are you planning to hold a grudge against them forever? Look at how miserable my adorable students are."

He gestured to the contrite faces of Yuta and the others, a hint of amusement dancing across his face.

You let out a weary sigh, your thoughts heavy with exhaustion as you pondered their apologies.

Yuta, sensing a hint of reluctance from your end, quickly interjected, "If it pleases you, we are willing to compensate for the damages we've caused."

Your voice remained calm yet resolute as you questioned, "Do you truly grasp the magnitude of your actions? The item you damaged holds the value of twenty of the most luxurious condos in Japan."

Yuta and the others visibly flinched at the realization of their folly, their expressions reflecting the weight of their mistake. With a nervous stammer, Yuta added, "Y-yes? P-please let us know how we can make amends."

"There's no need," you asserted firmly.

"Hai, Hai," Gojo intervened, his charismatic smile attempting to diffuse the tension. "I'll take care of the consequences. Please, be lenient with them, sweetheart."

But your resolve remained unwavering. "There's no need. If your apologies hold true, then lend me a hand with my luggage. My fingers are barely able to hold on."

Their gazes almost immediately fell to your wrists, where the sleeves were stained with blood, a stark reminder of the harm caused.

Realization suddenly dawned on them, and they gathered around you like a flock of concerned sheep, trying to get you to let go of your bags.

"See, everything's sorted now. Let's head back, shall we? I bet you're starving," Gojo remarked with his signature grin, his carefree attitude never faltering.

With the weight of the situation lifted, exhaustion hit you hard, accompanied by a pounding headache and a growling stomach.

You felt the final thread of resistance within you snap. With a sigh, you produced a tired nod, following behind him as he led the way to the car.

Panda joked about running back, claiming the car couldn't handle his size. Surprisingly, Gojo agreed without missing a beat, saying, "Sure thing. Catch you at school."

"I'll run back too. See you there, Y/N-san," Yuta chimed in, showing his consideration.

As the others piled into the car, you noticed Maki's reluctance to take the middle seat. You couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with Gojo Satoru.

Unexpectedly, Gojo settled into the seat next to you with ease, while Maki reluctantly took the seat on your other side. Toge took the front passenger seat, completing the peculiar seating arrangement.

"Miss L/N, are you okay?" Ichiji's voice broke the silence once everyone was settled.

With a dismissive shrug, you replied, "I'm fine. Thank you for your concern."

Kitoyaka Ijichi gave you one last look from the rear mirror, nodded before switching on the engine.

And so, this was how you found yourself in the car with the unpredictable Gojo Satoru and his students, on your way back to Jujutsu High.
