Two
It was already 2 in the morning and still, Thea can't sleep.
Camomile tea is good in promoting better sleep.
Habang hinihintay niyang kumalat ang tea sa tubig na mainit, she leaned her back on the backrest of the sofa.
Almost 2 years siyang nasa abroad, and almost a year na ding nasa Pilipinas siya, and that years, wala siyang nahawakan na lalaki.
She ignored his hand. He's handsome. His strong aura, his stubborn jawline, his lips that is inviting. The brows that thick and black na parang inahitan sa sobrang ayos.
Not to mention his hazel eyes.
She shut her eyes closed.
And it doesn't seem right because her husband just died. Sa tingin niya hindi iyon tama. Parang sa tingin niya, she is still cheating if she let someone, lalo na kapag lalaki na hawakan siya.
When she loved, she gave her all. Walang natira sa kanya. At wala siyang pakialam doon.
And it back lashed to her.
May takot, pangamba at panghihinayang.
Kahit papaano, he was good to their children and that is all that matters to her. Only that, his vices is more important.
That man.. He's handsome.
Na-imagine na naman niya ang itsura nito, His jawline, his deep eyes. His eyebrows na sobrang kapal and shiny. His nose, his lips that not too thin, not to thick.
Shit.
Mas matangkad pa ito sa asawa niya.
Why I'm even comparing them? Buset.. Not good. That man is not good for her mental health.
It's just that, Hindi lang kasi mawala wala ito sa isipan niya.
"Magpapagawa na ako ng gate bukas" She straigtened her body and drink her tea. The only thing that separate their houses is the short fence. No gate and she hates it.
She sat on the metal chair, put her feet on the metal round table and look up on the sky.
She's tired too tired. Too tired that she doesn't know what to do anymore. But she needs to stay strong for her children.
