Growing up together will make you the best of friends. It does sometimes complicate things when they try to date other people but they always seem to choose each other over anyone else.
"Yes, we will be back by then," I nodded. CJ smiled as she walked into the bathroom and locked the door. We sat on the couch. "This is a pretty sweet suite for someone who only grabbed her belt bag."
"Does she come from a wealthy family?" Carlos asked.
"No, but she is very good with her finances," I replied. "She lived with me for a week and a half when we were in New York."
"I'm glad you and I are together, but why would she ever leave a guy like you?" Carlos asked.
"She lived in Chicago and I in New York," I stated. "I did love her, but she had her own life in Chicago."
"Okay," CJ walked out. "Is this good?"

"How the hell does she pull off my sweatpants better than I can?" I asked. "And my t-shirt?"
"There's a lot of things that I can't do, but fashion is usually something I can get behind," CJ nodded. "Alright, so, let's get going." We went shopping with CJ. "I really thank you guys for doing this."
"Again, it's the least we can do," Carlos replied. Carlos drove us around. He stopped in front of a rent to own house. "This is a nice place."
"They're having an open house," I replied. "Let's go check it out." We parked and walked inside. "Wow."
"Can we afford $2,800 a month?" Carlos asked.
"I think you guys can," CJ nodded.
"Do we wanna do it?" I asked.
"Where are we going to get $20,000 for the down payment?" Carlos pointed.
"You let me worry about that," CJ smiled. We walked up to the realtor. "Hey, Pamela. My clients are interested in buying."
"Everyone's so eager," Pamela stated. "What are you offering?"
"Well, drop the price to 325 and I'll write you a check for 25 down instead of 20," CJ bargained. "And drop their monthly down to $2,200. They'll have the house paid off in 12 years."
"If we keep them at $2,800, they'll be done in 10 years," Pamela nodded. "You agree to that, then you got yourself a deal."
"We'll take it," I smiled.
"Perfect," CJ replied. She wrote a check and handed it to the lady. "We've got a house." We got all the paperwork done. CJ smiled at me. "I'm glad I was able to help you get a house."
"First my apartment and now a house," I stated. "Are you ever gonna stop being generous to me?"
"You're my friend, TK," CJ nodded. "And I've got a new friend out of Carlos." Her phone rang and she looked at it. "Oh, wow. Where did the time go?"
"We still got time," I replied.
"My husband just made it to the hotel," CJ replied. "Do you mind to take me back?"
