CJ's POV
"Babe, I don't think it's the breaker that needs help," I stated. "Guys, what's going on?"
"It's getting late," Judd replied. The power came back on. "Grace and I better get going."
"CJ and I should probably get going too," Jay replied as he stood up. "You ready sweetheart?"
"Yeah," I nodded. I noticed TK walked out the back. "Could you go start the car? I'm going to tell TK bye."
"Okay," Jay nodded.
"Thanks," I smiled. Jay left. "I'll be right back." I went out back. He was in the gazebo, far from the house. "T?"
"Hey," TK stated. He stood up. "I thought you were on your way out."
"I was, but I wasn't going to leave without seeing you," I stated. "You were my best friend, TK. You make me feel welcomed and that's one of the many reasons I love you." I grabbed TK's hands. "Promise me something."
"Anything," TK nodded.
"No more losing contact," I pointed.
"I didn't contact you because we broke-up," TK replied. "I thought you were done with me."
"No, you are literally my best friend," I nodded. "I don't want to lose you from my life." He let out a sigh. I rolled my eyes, pulled him in by wrapping my arm around his neck and gave him a kiss. He returned it before pulling away. "We got that out of the way."
"You have a husband," TK pointed.
"And you have a boyfriend, but that didn't stop you," I looked at him. "That kiss was years overdue. I know you've been thinking about it since I've been back."
"I don't like that you know me," TK replied.
"Mhm," I smiled. I walked inside. "You guys take care of each other and TK, for me, alright?"
"You know we will," Owen put his arm around me and gave me a squeeze. "Don't be a stranger."
"I won't," I nodded. "Bye guys." Three and a half months passed. I was standing on our balcony with a blanket wrapped around me. Jay knocked on the door. I walked inside and closed the door. "You look like you have a question."
"Is finding yourself the real reason you went down to Austin?" Jay asked.
"Why would I lie?" I asked.
"So it had nothing to do with the fact that you and TK dated?" Jay asked. I looked at him. "You think I wouldn't figure it out?"
"I thought you knew I dated TK," I replied. "I swore I told you."
"You never did," Jay nodded. "I know you dated my brother and Severide."
"Well, TK was another guy I dated and I think I was an experiment to him," I stated. Jay raised a brow. "TK was strictly into men. When I met him, his boyfriend had recently broken up with him. We spent a whole month together and I gave him a chance to try." I took the blanket off of me. There was a knock on my door. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to hang out with Paul."
"The one from Austin?" Jay asked.
"Yes," I nodded as I grabbed my coat. I opened the door. "Hey, Paul."
"Hey," Paul smiled as he gave me a hug. "You ready?"
"Yeah," I smiled. We walked out to my car and got in. "Okay. You're originally from Chicago, aren't you?"
"Yeah, girl," Paul nodded.
"Okay," I replied as I started driving. "So, I usually don't get visitors very often."
