"I'll enjoy seeing the life bleed out of you!"

The gashes on her hips were starting to fester. She'd taped on pieces of her torn cardigan, while running with a twisted ankle.

-^--^-

She bolted upright, gasping as her lungs struggled to expand with the lack of oxygen intake. She felt something around her mouth and nostrils, and just as she was about to rip it off, a strong grip on her wrist stopped her.

All she saw was a pair of eyes—— dark brown, before darkness pulled her back under.

-^--^-

The scar up the right corner of his lip's leered at her in a mocking smile, as he leaned forward. Grabbing the back of her neck, he plunged the knife into her shoulder, chuckling gleefully as she let out a blood curdling scream.

-^--^-

A searing pain erupted behind her skull—— as if something was banging the skeletal structure to be let out.

Something was pushing her back, holding her down by the shoulders.

She felt a sharp sting somewhere to her left, before numbness took over. As she struggled to keep conscious, far too afraid that the man would return to stab her in new places, her body succumbed to exhaustion.

-^--^-

As the pain weaved it's way through her sensory receptors and made it impossible for her to focus on anything else——

"Any last words?" A masculine voice, laced with malice cooed near her ears.

-^--^-

Her eyes snapped open, noticing the star shaped glowing stickers on the ceiling. Her mind tried to place what they were called—— glow-in-the-dark stickers.

Right, she sighed inaudibly.

Her eyes took in the detail of the room she was in—— IV bags, metallic stands, the smell of antiseptics and alcohol.

Why was she in a hospital?—— she frowned.

You got stabbed, you bloody idiot—— her mind retorted.

Right—— she tried to move her shoulder, only to wince as pain shot up the side of her neck and all over the left side of her body.

Gritting her teeth, she breathed in and out—— slow and deep. She was far too exhausted to bear the sound of her own screams. As she tried to call out to someone, the dried throat and parched lips made her wince inaudibly.

As the pain only intensified, the shapes around her morphed into a blur and she fell back into the land of lost consciousness.

I'm trying out a mystery slash amnesia slash tragic past slash forbidden (kinda) romance.
Perfect recipe for drama ;)

I know I'm supposed to write the other stories and finish them...... but when have I ever stuck to one thing? 😭😭

I've read amnesia stories on ShivIka but I wanted to add my own twists to it. By making it even more dramatic—— cuz why not? 😃😃

Please read the 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜 in the previous part. This story contains REEEAAALLYYYY dark elements.

Adieu 🍉
