"Are you not going to intervene with this unwanted event, inventor?"
The rattling of chains echoes throughout the empty surroundings, followed by a laugh.
"You and I both know what will proceed next with this course of fate. Interventions are unnecessary."
Silence. It wasn't until a minute passed by that a response finally arrived.
"Is that how you truly feel, or is it that you are too focused on a certain femme fatale?"
The question crushes the atmosphere with unwanted tension. A question that both knew was a statement in disguise.

You move backwards until, finally, your back touches the wall. Fears consume your body; the dizzying sensations still remain, yet your mind is oddly calm. Too calm for the situation you are faced with.
"What do you see?"
The question keeps flashing in your mind, followed by various statements.
"Relax."
"I am not going to cause harm to you, sweetheart."
"You must remember me."
You close your eyes to try and relax your thoughts, but the feeling of a hand pulling you by the waist makes your eyes snap open. Forcing you to meet the gaze of the Stellaron hunter once more.
The merlot-haired woman's lip carves into a smirk. She moves dangerously close to you, the distance between you two being lip to lip being just a mere few inches.
"Now now, don't act so afraid, darling. I did save you from that monstrous creation after all. Isn't that already enough from me to earn your trust?"
You try to get out of her embrace, but she only tightens her grip.
"I didn't need to be saved; I could have defended myself."
You press your hands on her body and use full force to try and push her off you. The full force in question came out as a weak push, comparable to that of a newborn. This earned a laugh full of mockery and amusement from the woman.
