"Stop being such an arrogant ass, James!" Sam shouted with his fists clenched in anger.

"Guys, this isn't solving anything." Matthew said, moving towards the group.

"Matthew is right. Let highness make their decision." Erik added.

Damien stood quietly amongst the group, listening to their thoughts. The five brothers all stood near the garden, after breaking up a near physical altercation between Sam and James. He knew very well of the situation in which caused the riff between each brother. A human who'd been nothing but lovely to them. It was inevitable that one of the brothers would fall for them, but all five? It was almost unbelievable. "All I did was show them a new book, you are being ridiculous Sam." James insisted.

Damien cringed as he spoke. "While making us look bad in the process."

"Yeah man. I mean, they should make their own choice, and making the rest of us look incompetent is kinda hurtful." Matthew said, looking to the ground.

James rolled his eyes. "Well, maybe if you didn't act-"

Before Damien could warn his brother, Sam's fist collided with James's jaw, making him stagger back while the others split up to contain each of them. "Don't pull that shit James. You know damn well that what you did was fucked."

"Sam, fighting solves nothing." Erik shouted, holding James's arm tightly.

"You have all spent the last half hour berating me as if none of you have gone out of your way to spend time with them." James said, arrogance in his tone.

"That's not the same thing James." Matthew said quietly.

"Enough!" Damien yelled, getting his brothers attention. "They will be home soon, and I can assure you they don't want us fighting over them like animals. Let them make their choice."

The group seemed to calm down a bit, Sam's shoulders relaxing and James letting out a breath. "And when they do, do not forget that we are brothers. We should not hold it against them or each other." Erik added on.

The group stood there, apologizing and making small talk before a voice startled them. "Hey guys, is everything okay?" Y/N asked, standing against the door frame. From the sound of his brother's thoughts, Damien knew this wouldn't be ending anytime soon.
