Aron x Sam

The day was rainy, clouds dark as thunderstorms rolled into Chicago. Because of the weather, everyone was basically stuck inside and bored. Aron decided to take the opportunity to dance in one of the empty rooms.

She was a competitive dancer growing up, and still continued to take classes as she got older. She mostly did a lot of contortion work and acrobatics as a kid and teen, but with her connective tissue disorder, she was recommended against flipping her body like a pretzel as she got older. Of course she didn't listen, but did focus more on other genres of dance.

For some reason, Sam decided to watch her this time. Aron didn't really mind, not much anyways. She danced and also sang in front of crowds all the time as a kid, but it was a bit more nerve wracking to only dance in front of one person, especially when that person was her incubus boyfriend.

Currently, they were bickering about a comment Sam made, ignorantly thinking turning was easy for everyone.

"Oh, come on, it can't be that hard," Sam huffed, crossing his arms. "You just have to spin."

"Oh yeah? Then you do it!" Aron shouted challengingly.

He chuckled. "Fine! I will," he said smugly, walking over to the middle of the room.

Aron moved to the wall, leaning against it as she watched Sam with an expectant expression. She watched as he lifted one of his legs and swung it back in an attempt to turn, only to almost fall. He caught himself quickly, scowling at Aron when she started laughing at him.

He tried again, and again, and again, and Aron was only getting more amused by the second, her giggles filling the air. "Stop laughing at me! I'm gonna get it this time."

"Hmm, sure you are," she said, wiping the tears that had formed from her laughter. "I believe in you. If you can do it, I'll even give you a tutu as a prize."

Sam blushed darkly and mumbled something under his breath before trying again. When he kicked his leg backwards in an attempt to turn the rest of his body, he fell backwards. He stood up quickly and glared at Aron as she laughed even louder.

She took a deep breath, her laughter calming down. "Are you okay?" she finally asked him.

He ran a hand through his hair as he scoffed. "Of course I'm okay, you think a little fall like that is gonna hurt me? I'm a demon for fucks sake."

She grinned toothily, trying -and failing- to suppress any more laughter. "I mean... you fell down pretty hard."

Sam looked less than amused, but she could see his scowl soften when she giggled. Her heart skipped a beat, and she felt her own cheeks warm up. She stepped closer to him and loosely hung her arms around his neck. In response, his arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her a bit closer. He leaned in and gently kissed her, lips moving against hers slowly.

When they broke the kiss, she looked up at him with a grin. "Still think it's easy?" she asked him, tone smug.

"No," he sighed in defeat, chuckling softly.

She snickered. "Yeah, I know. I still think I should give you a tutu though."

Aron grinned in delight as his face turned tomato-red, the idea of him wearing a tutu in her mind.
