The next day was where they'd all transfer over to Rome, where they would spend the remainder of the trip.
After breakfast, the 4 boys met up with their tourgroup to get on another train. This one being an 2 hours and a half ride to get to rome.
"Atleast you don't get car sick." Mingyu said as he sat down next to Wonwoo, the older taking the window seat.
"Mingyu, this is a train." Wonwoo sighed as he leaned his head on the youngers shoulder. "Sometimes it amazes me that YOU'RE my academic rival." He added.
"Are you guys still even rivals?" JinJin asked as he and Doyoung joined the 2 at their 4-person booth table.
"I-" Wonwoo trailed off. He hadn't even thought about how things would change after the trip.
What would happen at school? What would he tell his friends? Would they tell MINGYU'S friends?!
"I'm sure we'll always be competing for that number 1 spot." Mingyu joked as he took Wonwoo's hand in his. "But this time, i'm sure we won't hate each other as much." Mingyu said.
"Yeah." Wonwoo added, everyone could tell there was something else on Wonwoo's mind, but they decided to drop it and change the subject.
After the train ride, they arrived in Rome, with just enough time to drop their bags off at the hotel before their sight-seeing tour.
"Hey." Mingyu whispered as he took Wonwoo's hand in his. "Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm good." Wonwoo nodded. "Don't worry." He added, giving Mingyu's hand a reassuring squeeze.
"Okay." Mingyu nodded. "Just know you can talk to me if something is on your mind." He added.
"Thank you. Now come on!" Wonwoo smiled as he dragged Mingyu along so they wouldn't fall behind.

"Hey Mingyu." Wonwoo called that night from their hotel room. Yeah, the 2 are still sharing rooms together.
"Yeah?" Mingyu called back from the bathroom, getting ready for bed.
"Let's just use one of these beds tonight." Wonwoo said, not looking up from his phone.
"Are you asking to cuddle!?" Mingyu asked, practically racing out of the bathroom.
"Don't make me ask again." Wonwoo said as Mingyu held his hands up in surrender.
"I personally think that's a GREAT idea!" Mingyu smiled, jumping into bed as he pulled Wonwoo into his arms. "So great." He whispered.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Wonwoo rolled his eyes, grateful that Mingyu couldn't see his smile.
