Chapter 15

Oheyu, minna! Sorry it took so long to get this done and up. I haven't had much help but, it's done now! So........ here it is! Chapter 15 of Betrayal! Enjoy!

Mirajane's POV

Master had read Lucy's flyer two days ago and had sent the other flyers to their assigned guilds. Today, the members and guild masters of those guilds chosen and to come with us to the Dragon Meeting are arriving. Lucy had told us why we were attending the meeting. I think it's a good idea. We will be sparring with whoever Cana's cards choose. We will be required to show off the full extend of our abilities. Meaning no holding back for no one for any reason. Before everyone leaves, Cana is suppose to do her card magic to figure out who will be sparring with who.

Suddenly, the guild doors opened and everyone looked to see who it was. We all saw the marks on each person. Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale. From Blue Pegasus, there was Hibiki Lates, Eve Tilm, Ren Akatsuki,Ichiya Vandalay. (I didn't feel like putting his entire name) and Jenny Realight. From Lamia Scale, there was Lyon Vastia, Sherry Blendy,Jura Neekis and a girl around Wendy's age that looked like a mini Sherry. I walked over to greet them. "Konnichiwa, minna. We're just waiting on a few people to arrive." I told them. "Mira-san, why were we requested to pick a few members?" Sherry asked me. "Well, it's easier to just show you because you would most likely not believe us if we just told you." I explained.

After I said that, Lucy, Wendy, Levy and Erza entered the guild. "That is the last of our people. Akina will explain later what we'll be doing." I said as Cana came to stand beside me. "We're ready, Cana." Lucy said. "Right, Card Magic!" Cana said and threw her cards against the wall. When we looked at the card, it was actually kind of making us curious. "Okay, I want those to be recorded on a viewing lacrima. This I want to see." Bisca said.

Guldarts is against Jura, Erza is against Jenny, Gray against Eve, Natsu against Hibiki,  me with Chelia, Ren with Laxus, Gajeel with Wendy, Emiko with Lyon, Freed with Ichiya and Sherry, Juvia amd Lisanna weren't paired with anyone. "Akina, what are those three going to do?" I asked. "Hibiki is going to do something for me when we get there. So they, might have someone to spar against. If they don't then I'll figure something out for them." She explained.

"How is Emiko going to be able to fight Lyon? He'll be able to freeze her attacks." Gray commented. "I have to go against an Ice Make wizard? ...Again?" Emiko said. "What do you mean again?" He asked her. "When I was younger, my mother went to a female Ice Make wizard and asked if she woukd spar with me to see where I stand with an ice wizard. The woman was so beautiful and she had two small children with her. Her maker magic was so beautiful. When I first saw it, I was hesitant to destroy it. I stood well against her. Even at a really young age. After my dragon left me, I went in search of the woman where I knew she lived... only to find that she had died in battle." I saw a few tears run down her cheeks. "During our time with the woman and the boys, she taught me a little of her magic. I haven't used it since I found out she had passed away though." She added shortly after. "Show us, Emiko." Lyon said as he looked at her closely. "I don't know if I can." Emiko said softly, looking down at the ground. I walked up to her. "Try and maybe you'll succeed." I told her, putting my arms gently around her. She looked up at me and nodded.

She moved away from the group, took uo a very familiar stance. Legs shoulder length apart, head bowed with her hair covering her eyes, arms out, left palm face up with her right hand fisted in her palm. I noticed her close her eyes and I heard a spell I had never heard before. "Ice Make Rose!" Suddenly, a beautiful crystal blue ice vine shot out from her hands, taking form on the floor in front of the boys and there were gorgeous fully bloomed roses all over the vines. (I don't know how to exain it but, that's what I saw in my mind when I thought about this scene) It was a beautiful sight to behold. "Ur." Gray and Lyon said together. Emiko's head shot up at the name andvher eyes widened in shock at hearing the name and at seeing tears in the boys' eyes.

Suddenly, Gray rushed forward and lifted Emiko in the air before pulling her to him and in hug. "It is you. I can't believe it. Lyon, what about you?" Gray said. Lyon took Emiko from Gray gently before pulling her into a tight hug. "After all this time... you're still alive." He said, burying his face into her hair. She hugged him as well. Smiling and crying at the same time. "You guys will need to explain yourselves later. We need to get going." Erza said, stepping up to the three. Lyon released Emiko but, she stayed between the two ice wizards. After that, Layla chanted something and a portal or something appeared in the middle of the guild hall and we our huge group and exceeds followed her into the portal. I hope nothing happens to the guild while we're gone.

Emiko's POV

I can't believe they're alive. I thought for sure they had died with Ur. I missed them so much over the years and I am so happy that they are here now. I can't believe I be fighting against Lyon though. This'll be fun, haven't sparred with them in so long but, I think I still know all of their moves. I can't wait till we get to rest, maybe I'll get to spend time with them.
