Chapter 4

Ohayou, fairies. So, here is Chapter 4. Hope everyone is enjoying it so far!!! Some OC's will be making an appearance in chapter 6 so keep reading!!! Don't ask me what Natsu is doing, he's being Natsu right now and disappeared. I think he's asleep but I'm not sure. Anyway. Disclaimer!!! I do not own Fairy Tail!! (Sadly)

Lianna's POV

Today, Mira-nee, Big Brother Elf and I are going on a job request. Its been difficult without Lucy. Mira tries to continue smiling, but it's hard for everyone except Natsu to smile without the sunshine of the guild. I miss Lucy-chan so much. I can't believe Natsu did that. I can't help but cry myself to sleep and oneechan will have to sing to me until I go to sleep. Just like she did when I was little. I want my friend back. I haven't even gotten the chance to read the letter she wrote me and I feel bad.

We were on a train heading to our job. Elfman was asleep, Mira-nee is looking out the window and I was staring down at my lap. I was sort of sleepy. Last night wasn't a particularly good night for me. Natsu and I fought really bad, again, and the things he said about Lucy was so terrible and they keep replaying in my mind even though I know it isn't true. "Lucy was nothing but a weak, ugly slutty ass whore who only used you because of how close we once were. She doesn't care about you. She wasn't your friend." I ended up having a breakdown and didn't get much sleep. I sighed. What is wrong with Natsu?

"Lisanna, why don't you read the letter Lucy wrote for you? You have a bit of time to do so and try to get some more sleep afterwards." Mira-nee said, making me jump at the sudden break of silence. "Okay, Mira." I said. I opened my little carrying bag that had a few things inside, including the letter. When I pulled it out, I saw that Mira had gone back to looking out the window. She wasn't smiling, she only does that at the guild now. I look at the letter as I open it and began reading it.

Dear, Lisanna

I'm so glad that you were never dead. Mira and Elfman can now be happy without feeling guilt. In just a short time, you have become like a sister to me so I don't blame you for what happened. I won't blame you or be upset if you decide to join Team Natsu. I'll miss you, Lisanna. But, I will be returning one day. So, we'll see each other again. You know, even though, what Natsu said hurt me a lot... I can't help but love the dense idiot. Please, take care of him while I'm gone. Be there for him, figure out what could've made him act like that and try to make him come to his senses. If you can't, maybe we'll make our own team.

There's something I want you to remember for me. I would never use anyone for any reason. I know many people probably think I only use you because of your bond with Natsu, but that isn't true for me. I wouldn't care if you once dreamt of marrying Natsu or if you still have feeling for him. I'm your friend because I think you're a great person.

After I read the letter. I felt hands brush across my cheeks. I looked up and saw Mira-nee pulling her hands away with some kind of clear liquid spotting part of them. That was when I felt it, I had tears streaming down either side of my face. "Its okay to cry. It's okay to feel sad or ashamed after all that Natsu has put both of you through." She said to me as she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me to her. That was the moment the dam broke and my tears flowed more freely than before. I let out all my anguish, pain and fear out. Anguish over what happened only a few days ago, pain because I had begun to believe the words Natsu said and fear that she might change her mind and not come home to Fairy Tail. I let everything I have been feeling out.

I continued to cry for several minutes. Sometime after I began crying, Big Brother Elf woke up, saw the letter that had fallen onto the floor of the train and joined the hug. The rest of the train ride consisted of tears and memories about Lucy. My siblings told me all kinds of stories about her, a lot of them made me laugh too. It was the best train ride we've had.

Lucy's POV
When I got to Tully, I went looking for an apartment to rent. I've been walking for a while and decided to visit the magic shop. As I was walking through the isles, I saw a silver key. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was the gate key for the Swan named Deneb. I picked it up and walked over to the cashier. He told me the price and I paid for the key.After that, I continued my previous search.

I was walking down a street when I saw her. She looked like an older me. Long, blonde hair and brown eyes. I knew this woman. But she's been dead for 7 years. How is she here now? "Mom?" I asked out loud. She smiled at me. "Yes, Lucy. Its me." She told me. Before I could think, my legs were moving. I ran into her arms. I was happily surprised when I didn't go right through her. "Mom, how is this possible? You died 7 years ago." I said as I sobbed into her shoulder.

Her arms gently tightened around me. "Its a long, complicated story, baby. For now, let's focus on right now." She said. "Okay. I missed you so much, mom." I said. "I missed you too. I'm so sorry about what happened at Fairy Tail. I know why you're in Tully. How about I help you get stronger?" Mom explained. "That sounds great, mama." I said.

She pulled away, took hold of my hand and began leading me away. "Where are we going?" "Where I have been for the past 7 years, Lucy. Its easier to show you than if I explained." She told me. I silently followed her, happy that I could see her again.

Soon, we entered a forest and walked to a waterfall. We stepped through the middle of the waterfall which somehow parted like someone parting window drapes. When we got to the other side, my mind blanked out. There were... islands of different climates, shapes, sizes and elements everywhere. There were pathways leading to them. There was a building in the distance and things flying all over the place. Hold on, why is there a huge red dragon flying towards us? Where are we anyway because I don't think we're in Tully anymore.
