Chapter 29

Freed's POV

"Evergreen!" I called out as I saw Elfman fling her away with his Beast Arm. I took a step to run over and help her when suddenly a man stepped in my way. "You aren't going anywhere. I'm your opponent now." The man said. He spoke in a monotone voice and sounded rather boring. Aggravated, I shot some runes at him just to watch them suddenly veer off and explode behind him. "How the...?" "You can never hope to defeat me with such weak magic." He spoke. I kept trying to throw runes at him but, the same thing happened every time. Fed up, I decided to use my Dark Ecriture so my eyes turn black and also begin glowing purple. "Dark Ecriture: FIRE!" I sent FIRE at the man but, the word just simply veered off and part of the ruined building went up in flames. "Dark Ecriture: PAIN!" "Dark Ecriture: FEAR!" I tried again by sending two words at once at the man. The same thing just happened. "Is that it?!" He asked before he began laughing hysterically. "Well, then how about I show you my true form then. Shall we?" He said with a maniac smile on his face. Suddenly, he transformed into a big black and red hideous creature with four arms with talons as nails and paw for his feet. He had two sharply pointed horns that were dripping blood and his eyes were glowing red and he roared at me. Blood dripped from his horrible looking pointed teeth. "Such a hideous creature. Well, this might have just gotten a little bit more interesting." I said. "Dark Ecriture: WINGS!" "Evil Battles Evil Dark Ecriture: Darkness!" I called out from in the air and I begin transforming into my demon. "Let's fight!" I yell from behind my armored mask.

Bicklow's POV:

"Hey don't forget me you bastards!" Suddenly I was pressed down to the ground hard and it was soon very difficult to move. "Ngh... What the hell?" I look up and see a guy looking down calmly at me. Clearly he was the one doing this. "I get it now. Gravity Magic." "Yes. Looks like you're not so stupid after. Then again, a child playing with dolls is smart enough to know this." Already pissing me off. Ok then. "Hey buddy you've got some nerve doing this to a member of the Thunder God Tribe." "Yes we've heard of you. Your boss got kicked out didn't he? Some leader. Tries to rebel against his own guild and loses to some foot soldier. Your guild will make anyone an S-Class these days." When I get the chance I'm killing this prick.
