Hi minna! I'm so sorry I haven't written in so long. So much has happened. Got a new job January 30, my boyfriend and I got our first apartment and made several new friends. But most importantly, I've figured out the next few chapters. So, I'm going to try to update a bunch today since its been so long. Also, I haven't told you guys this yet, but I have two werewolf originals. They're both from the same series. A New Start and The Alpha's Scarred Mate. I'm also working on plotting and scene's for my very first crime novel. I have the beginning planned and the end. I just don't have the characters, middle and crime. I'm also working on a Skyrim fan fiction for all of those who like the Elder Scrolls. It's called Honor Among Monsters.

Anyway, these next few chapters will be like fillers, but they're still important as its shows the development of the relationship between Kenji and Emiko. Also, one more thing. If you love some songs from Skyrim or Skyrim Online, go to youtube and check out Malukah. She is brilliant. I love listening to her sing and she is such a beautiful young woman.

And without further ado...... CHAPTER 36!!!!

__________

Emiko's POV

After everyone had finally calmed down relatively, I was sitting in a quiet corner sipping on chocolate milk, writing in my notebook. "Hey, Emiko, wanna go a job?" I heard a male voice ask me. I looked up and saw Kenji standing in front of my table with a job request paper in his hand. "Sure, what's the job for?" I asked, taking the paper from him. Fire and Water mages needed. Stand in black smith forge until owner's forge is fixed in Cedar town. Will pay 500,000 Jewels. "You do know that this job says that we will be paid as a stand in forge, right?" I questioned. "Yeah, Salamander refused it because it doesn't pay enough to help blonde." I sighed at the sheer stupidity of it but, agreed none the less. Before I could stand up, the guild doors flew open and a light grey fur ball flew against my chest. "Emiko, we have no money left." The fur ball cried. "I know, Shoken. Kenji and I are fixing to go on a job, okay? For now, stay with Wendy or Lucy." I told her.

I went to my apartment to pack a few things and had told Kenji to meet me at the train station, which is where I was headed to. On my way, I saw a little ice cream shop and decided to stop in and by a couple cones. Once I had bought the ice cream, I hurried over to the station and saw Kenji waiting for the train. I walked up to him and handed him a cone of chocolate ice cream and he silently handed me a ticket. "We have a fifteen minute wait but, that's not so bad." He told me as I started working on my ice cream cone. "Okay, that's good. It lets me prepare myself for the horrible ride." I said quietly, already feeling slightly queasy about the idea of a moving vehicle. "What's with Dragon Slayers having trouble with vehicles?" He asked. I looked at him amused. "Well, if you must know, how do dragon's get around?" I asked him sarcastically. "By flying." He answered. "Right, they have wings. It's easier on us Dragon Slayers to ride with our exceeds. While we get motion sick on moving vehicles. Why do you think that is?" I said. He was silent for a few minutes before I saw the metaphorical light bulb flash in a mind as he realized the issue for us. We fell into a relative silence while we continued to wait. It felt a little awkward, seeing as we have never even spoke before this job and he had just joined the guild. When the train finally arrived, I hesitantly walked onto it and we found a seat and settled in for the ride.

I managed to survive the eternity long ride without losing my breakfast. We are now in Cedar town and we had to find the place we need to go. We decided to just look around and see if we can find the black smith's place. "So, why did you decide to join the guild? You and the rest of Shadow Crow were trying to destroy us not too long ago." I asked him as we continued looking around. I saw a merchant stall that had the most adorable dress ever hanging on a railing, I used a little of my money I had and bought it for Wendy. "Well, we only challenged Fairy Tail because Axel, our guild master, wanted to disband Shadow Crow, but he knew that most of the members wouldn't take kindly to that idea without a fight. So, he and I decided to sort of lure Fairy Tail into a battle because we knew you guys would be able to take down our top members. We even had captured that girl with short white hair and made sure she was treated like a regular guest." He explained.

As we walked, I thought about his answer. I decided that it made sense in a way. After a few more minutes of walking, I heard the sounds of concrete against metal. I followed the sound past a couple of silent buildings and saw a man, sitting at a grinder with a blade in hand. A few feet away there was a died out fire pit with a pole sticking out of one side. "Excuse me; are you the black smith of Cedar Town that placed this job quest in our guild?" I called out to the man. He stopped whatever he was doing and turned to face us. "Are you two from the mages guild called Fairy Tail?" He asked us. "Yes, sir." I told him as Kenji and I showed him our guild marks. "I'm Kenji, the Fire Devil Slayer and this is Emiko the Water Dragon Slayer." Kenji told him as the black smith came over and shook our hands. "Welcome to Cedar Town. I trust you know why you're here." He said. We nodded silently. "Good, well. I'll only be needing you for about five hours. I have someone coming over to help get the forge working again just before sundown." He explained to us. "Well, we can keep our magic up for a few hours before we'll have to rest our magic." Kenji told the man. The black smith nodded in understanding and looked as though he was thinking. "Alright, I might be able to figure something out whenever you kids need to rest your magic." He said. "Okay, then. We can start right away then." I told him. He explained to us what was needed to be done and we started working. It wasn't too complicated and we were able to come up with a system that would allow us to work for a while longer without needing to rest for an hour. We soon were able to get into a routine and were able to work perfectly together.

Well, there's chapter 36. I apologize if you didn't like it lol. Dylan and I couldn't think of a suitable quest for them since these are suppose to be relaxing chapters before the suspense.
