The way watching each player worked is each competitor gets their own spectator space for people to view how they're doing. A portal conjured up to show those viewing that persons every move. Ana reluctantly came to the viewing because she wanted to make sure her brother was ok. She ended up sneaking into the back of team Good's screens to make sure Gregor didn't get into any trouble. Despite her argument Jay tagged along with her and watched with his friend.
Ana couldn't stand watching her friends in the trials as that was her spot. They are taking up her spot. Along with all the second years.
"Why is Sophie even still here?" She told Jay in a whisper "doesn't she come from like a weird villiage place,"
"Nazareth?" Jay questioned.
"No you dumbass. That's a place in the outside world. Also that's where Jesus was born you idiot. They come from Gavaldon," Ana replied as she reverted her eyes back to the screen waiting for it to start. "But seriously why is she still here?" It was also then when it became clear to Jay that Ana was going to hold a grudge over all of this for a very long time.
As they waited they stole some snacks off of the dining table for good. From cakes to popcorn to actually digestible food. As they sat back down, food at the ready. The trials began. Everyone eagerly watched as Gregor and Hester entered the Blue Forest at the same time at opposite ends of the maze. We watched for hours. Ana felt hopeless as she watched hours of Gregor walking into natures traps without a second through. All the traps were either specifically set for students or things that grew in the forest. Either way they all had their turn ripping Gregor to shreds. He got attacked by a scarecrow twice, his coat was eaten by flowers with teeth and he then ate the wrong type of mushroom (if you know what I mean). Ana felt bad for him but it was slightly funny to watch, especially the mushroom part.
Note to self: If you eat anything in the woods, never eat mushrooms. Or anything for that matter.
It was then when the boys from Good started to attack Gregor. All led by the twat he is Tedros. Openly humiliating Gregor in front of both schools. To be fair Gregor was very much outnumbered but bless him he didn't exactly help his case.
They collectively beat him and then let him run then catching him. This would repeat and repeat. It was an exhausting game of cat and mouse. Tiring to watch and even more tiring to do. Ana, serval times, was about to get over there and beat the shit out of them but Jay had somehow managed to calm her down. But she could tell Tedros was trying to get her to crash the games. She could tell by him looking around every so often.
Yet once Gregor got stabbed and thrown into the biting flowers for the third time Ana had had enough. The magic rage shit wasn't helping either. One problem, she couldn't just burst out of here. She had to sneak out of here quietly and undetected. She was still in the School for Good so she crept out of the viewing room.
Successfully she crept all the way back to the walls of the Blue forest. It was then she used her magic, blood magic, to lift her high up above the walls and back down into the game. Once she landed she needed to remain undetected and she needed to track down Gregor. Which wouldn't be tricky as she thought it would be as you could hear Gregor's screams from a mile away. She followed the screams and found them. Now cutting off hair and cutting into his skin with daggers.
Ana watched carefully figuring out when was the right time to attack. She first cast a spell on them. It wouldn't last long "Dènsaugeo," that should cover the cameras for now. She leapt out of hiding and walked up to the boys. "Hi guys,"
"I knew you would end up here," Tedros said "didn't I tell you all. She always has to protect him because he's hopeless without her,"
"True yes," Ana said "but that doesn't mean you should aggravate me. Shouldn't you be saving your energy for the other team?"
