Chapter 21

"No, Jay!" Astraea laughed, hitting his back in a playful manner.

He threw her down the bed.

Jayden climbed on top of her, hovering her body.
All the while Astraea pushed him, in order to get him off of her.

Ring ring

Jayden rolled his eyes, getting off of  Astraea.
He immediately went straight out the door, not wanting her to hear anything.

Astraea straightened and fixed herself sitting down the bed.

"What?"
He replied in an annoyed tone.

"Chill, dude. You really need to come here."
Jayden looked back at the door where Astraea was in.

Jayden was on the phone with Alonzo.
"Why?" He replied curtly, he just wanted to stall the conversation, so he could lay in bed with Astraea. He was seeking reasons for him to just stay at home and being with her.

"What? Why're you asking. Your dad is pissed Jayden he finds you distracted." Alonzo the guy that sat in Jayden's class was part in the mafia. Alonzo didn't need to go to school actually, but he was there for Jayden.

"The last time you were this distracted was with that girl. Her name was ... Are you with Astraea again?"

"Is that Jayden?" Jayden's father asked, taking the phone from Alonzo.

"You better get your *ss over here boy."
"You're getting distracted again. What's up with you? You know what, just come over here." His father sighed.

"I don't want to. I don't want to do this actually."

"Wait what?! You be—" Jayden hung up and went back to the room.

He saw Astraea outside on the porch looking at the view.

Jayden went to hug her from behind, putting his head on top of her head. Having a curvy girlfriend really has it's benefits.
He smelled her mahogany scent, reminiscing the feeling.
"Astraea let's go somewhere for the weekend. Just the two of us." He said in a husky tone.

She placed her hand on the top of his arm, making sweet circles on it.

Astraea left a smile.

He turned her around picking her up.
Her legs instinctively going around him. She knew he wouldn't drop her. The height of the porch down to the ground had a huge distance that's how big the house was.

He softly placed her on top of the fence she was leaning on.

"What do you say?" He smiled bending down to peck the lips he couldn't get enough of.

"What happened?" She saw right through him. Astraea placed her hand on the back of his neck, playing with his hair.

"Nothing to worry your pretty little head about." He booped her nose with his finger.

"Tell me. I'm here for you." She placed her hand on his chest where his heart was beating.

"Your burden is my burden."
" You don't have to do it alone anymore."

It pained her how much he felt like he needed to do it alone, whilst he didn't have to.

Behind those eyes, she saw a broken soul and if she was one of the reasons of his happiness she would make sure to remain the feeling he felt.

"You know I love you. Just tell me."

The eye contact the couple held felt like they were the only two people in a dark world. The heart to heart talk could be trusted and would remain between the two.
